Saw excellent reviews on Google Maps and a YouTube reviewer I trust said this place was great. Only 4 minutes down the road from where we are staying. There's no sign or anything so it's good that I had looked it up prior. Door was open (which meant 3 big flies hovering), Halloween episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer playing (followed by a Halloween Freaks and Geeks); no AC. Unfortunately no gyoza available which I wanted to try but I got the spam musubi, single smash...
This place has a special spot in my heart. It's incredible close to where ai work and the food is so good it's comforting. I tend to go in with a troubled mind and leave with a happy full belly which is enough to help.me get through the rest of the workday. It is indeed a hole in the wall, but it's a good one. It gets a little packed during lunch and there is limited seating. Don't expect AC. I would order ahead because you will still have to wait in line to...
Sweet Fancy Moses, this place is fabulous. We stopped by for lunch and got 2 smash burgers. I will be dreaming about them until I come back. It was probably the best burger I've had in California since we moved here in 2020. It's a little hidden home in the wall place that smells like fat deliciousness. Highly recommend!!
