We picked up our 1st order- white fish rice n veggies all very fresh. I cooked on stove as I like to simmer in juices. Was excellent & filling. Thai wrap w carrots n celery also nicely prepared & oh so fresh.

Macrobox is definitely a solid place to get your mealprep service. There is plenty of variety available. They used to be much environmentally friendly when it came to their packaging, but now its all plastic. They are definitely on the pricier side, but the customer service is amazing.

Gave this spot a try due to the great reviews. I was acepto al at first cause I read a review from a guy that bought 10 meals and they had mold. Didn't think much of it and tried out one meal, and sure enough - mold!! Stay away from this spot. Also reference the store inspection heading. Looks like they have vermin and several other "No pass" health code violations.

I'm very impressed with the customer service, quality, and price from Macrobox. Their menus are thoughtfully put together and everything is packaged well. The food is healthy and delivery is very convenient. I'm a new customer and thus far my experience is 5 stars. They deserve it.

I have tried other meal prep services before and I have to say, Macrobox Meals is for sure my favorite! My boyfriend and I went in thinking to ourselves, "we'll just try it for a few weeks", and we we've had our meals weekly from here for the past few months! We love it! We used to order from Freshly before and there really is no comparison. These meals taste home-cooked, while Freshly truly tasted like freezer meals. I also love the way I feel when I eat the food. The food feels fresh and wholesome in my body! I will say that the meals vary in size. We opted for the low carbohydrate 4 oz meal plan option so naturally, the meals are rather light. Some meals are a bit on the smaller side and I get hungry again in 90 minutes or so while some meals are larger and I am unable to eat it in one sitting. I do think some of the meals are lacking in salt/seasoning, but I just shake a little bit of "Everything but the Bagel Seasoning" from Trader Joe's and it does the job! The meals I enjoy most are the meals that include a sauce or meals with flavors that I know I enjoy. I do find that the meals that are simply a protein (ex: chicken) and a side of vegetables with no sauce are almost always dry. Overall, I highly recommend this service! There is such a variety in the foods week to week and day to day. The food is well cooked and tastes of quality. It feels good in my body and most importantly, I feel good knowing that I am eating good food!

I have been using this meal service for about a month and honestly I was a bit scared that I couldn’t chose my meals but gave it a chance either way. I am so glad I did! The food is always different, they have great customer service, I haven’t had any issues with delivery or the food. The food is actually really delicious, tastes fresh and even homemade which can sometimes be hard to feel when you do meal delivery services. These guys are the real deal! So happy I have found them.

I love their meals and order the 15 meals weekly. Why I gave 4 out of 5 stars is because they serve a fish meal every week. I normally love fish however the texture and taste of the white fish is disgusting. I try to eat it but it ends up in the trash. Because they do not allow people to choose their weekly meals I end up throwing the white fish away which is waste. I really wish we could choose our weekly menu.

I have been eyeing this meal prep service for over a year. I went the HelloFresh route instead but grew tired of cooking. I found this place again and had to try it since it's the only meal prep service that actually looked good! I purchased a week of breakfast, dinner, and snacks. When I went to pick up on Sun, I had a question about the next week's meals and tried to ask the girl who was fulfilling the pickup orders. She blew me off and said she didn't know, she just passes out pickup meals. I shrugged it off, she seemed young, and I drove home, figuring I'll just call tomorrow to ask. On Monday morning, I opened a snack container and saw mold on the fruit. I was annoyed but just proceeded to get a different snack box (same contents). In this one, everything had an odd sour taste. I couldn't finish eating it and figured I wouldn't even try the 3rd container and threw them all away. I reached out and spoke to whom I imagine is the owner. When I told her of the mold, she had this "okay, and?" type of response vs an "OMG, I'm so sorry!" type of response. I asked what they do in situations like this and she said I could get a refund or if I got a credit to my account, I would get more back. Against my better judgement, I chose the credit, thinking I'll give them another shot. She sounded hesitant to refund me and asked to email pictures first, then they would process the credit, so I did. On Wednesday I went to eat my breakfast meal and low and behold, MORE mold!! I reached out again via email and asked this time for a refund. A week goes by and nothing. I reached out again and asked when I should be seeing my refund. I guess they forgot because they pushed a refund of $17 to my card that day. I spent $110.50 for 10 meals, 5 snacks and got $17 back for the 4 inedible items - doesn't seem like that great of a deal to me (should've been closer to $30) but at least I got some money back. As far as the rest of the food goes, it wasn't good. The concepts are good but poorly executed. It's almost impossible to eat tacos for meal prep because the shells become soggy and brittle. Or a taco salad - the fat from the meat is congealed when cold but I can't heat it because of the lettuce. Out of the 15 meals, 1 dinner was good, the bagel breakfast was phenomenal (add Trader Joe's Everything But the Bagel seasoning!), and the other quiche that didn't have mold was good. The rest I just picked at then threw away.

My boyfriend and I are on our 3rd week and the food is amazing! The food is all really fresh. We opted for the 6oz of protein, low carb option, asked for no pork, and it's just been delicious. I've looked around at other meal prepped options but their menus are limited, lack variety, too many calories, lack low carb options and the price for the oz of protein suck. At first I thought I might not like what I get since I don't get to see the menu or there wouldn't be variety but nope! I've been delighted to see the variety. It's far more variety than I could come up with for a weeks worth of food. I live close by so I save a bit on delivery by picking it up. I highly recommend Macrobox Meals, food is awesome!
