NK's recipes are carefully balanced with unique sauces. Near Anduril, it is our go-to late night place. Try everything. Great bowls and bao. Simple menu. You must try it out.

The fried chicken and the grilled pork are a bit too dry. The garlic noodle is very well seasoned.

A hidden but cute little store! I've tried the one in Orange before but glad they open one here as well. Been coming to this location ever since they opened. We'll visit every now and then whenever I crave popcorn chicken & their peach & lychee green tea! Highly recommended! The only con for me is the price. They're pretty expensive and if you comes in with a hungry stomach then be prepared to empty out your wallet, which was exactly what happened to me many times in the past!

The garlic noodles here were excellent. My only gripe was I wish the portion was bigger. I also got the Thai tea which made for an amazing lunch. I am excited about trying the other dishes there but I keep ordering the garlic noodles. ?. It's a small dining area inside but overall a pleasant dining experience.

I have purchased both the garlic noodles with house marinated chicken, house marinated chicken sandwich and Vietnamese coffee. All were good and fair for the price. The young lady that works at the front is also friendly and accommodating. Thank

If you're looking for somewhere to have a late night bite, this is your spot! Nguyen's Kitchen is open later than most restaurants so if you're hungry and don't want to get fast food, this is a great option. I had a chicken bowl and an order of the golden bao I was surprised with the chicken bowl. I thought it would be a typical teriyaki bowl, but their chicken has its own unique flavor, it was good. The golden bao is like a a pork bao corndog. I can see myself coming back here when I want a late night meal.

I've had their Orange location bookmarked for years, but bf surprised me with a visit to the Santa Ana location. It's hidden in a business park, which happens to be very close to my work office, but since I work from home, I'm learning new things all the time lolThe space is like a cafeteria with an acai smoothie bar opposite their order counter. Since we arrived on opening on a weekend, the area was very quiet. They had an order kiosk at their entrance, so for first timers, it was great to view their digital menu of things. We decided to share a few things: Popcorn Chicken, Cajun Fries topped with a fried egg and Garlic Noodles topped with bulgogi. The cajun fries were a little salty for our preference but otherwise very crispy. The garlic noodles were definitely the garlicky kind - be wary of sneaky garlic burps later! The popcorn chicken was good too, but nothing spectacular. We had drinks too - Vietnamese Ice Coffee & Peach & Lychee Green Tea. The green tea was superb and would order again. The Vietnamese iced coffee packed a punch and I only had about half for that day. I had to dilute it with homemade black coffee in order to finish it haha.Overall, would return again. I'd like to try their banh mi or bowls next time.

Great flavors and good value. Nguyen's kitchen had expanded pretty quickly recently and I love that they have salad options for when I'm feeling like I need to be healthy. The sauces are great, and I think they have a partnership with pur bowls which sells açaí bowls because I often see them placed together. I like both so not complaining, and a plus that they open late! Good choice for fast casual

Surprised to find there was a Nguyen's Kitchen so close to Irvine! All my prior stops at Nguyen's Kitchen was the one off of Main St. next to CHOC/St. Joe's in Orange. I stopped by on a weekday evening, since the 405 NB was at a standstill and I wanted to wait it out while doing something rather than stuck in traffic. This is one of those locations where if you blink, you'd miss it. It was in a very empty plaza with a few other restaurants and a equally empty parking lot. In fact, I wasn't sure I was even in the right place, because the street lights weren't up yet, and there was a bit of a haze when I stopped by. In any case, I parked right upfront and walked in. Was greeted right away. I ordered the same two items I typically get - the Crawfish Pasta and the Thai Iced Tea. I received the Thai Iced Tea first - and it was pleasantly creamy and spicy - as I remembered it. The wait for the Crawfish Pasta wasn't too bad - and more people stopped by and ordered food while I waited. There was a good amount of crawfish, sausage, and sauce over the bed of the al dente pasta. Honestly - the dish alone has a good amount of spice to it, but if you really wanted more, you can get a side of their spicy cream sauce. The dish comes in a tinfoil pan, so it's best if you finish it right there rather than take it to-go, since you can't really microwave the container if you plan to eat it while out and about. Tables weren't really bussed - and there were several that looked clean but ended up being pretty sticky when I sat down. Good location, and I'll make a point to stop here for dinner again if I need to wait out 405 traffic.

Prices were pretty good for what the food was, however compared to most places I've been that sell similar foods, this place feels a bit below average. Again, the food is pretty good for the
