Underwhelming. I remember coming here years ago and it was fantastic.
I know the pandemic effected alot of restaurants, but we were really looking forward to the large salad bar.....now it is a fraction of what it used to be.
Food was still good, not sure if we will come back any time soon though

We made a reservation for 6:00 PM on a Friday so we could see the beautiful sunset through the windows. The restaurant wasn’t super busy at the time, so we got our food pretty quickly. We ordered the Miner's Filly filet mignon, slow-roasted prime rib, Chilean sea bass, baby back pork ribs, Miner's loaded fries, and a baked potato. Everything was quite decent. While the French onion soup and clam chowder were delicious, they were a bit too salty for my taste. Portions weren't huge, but they were just right. Our server and the busboys were great and very polite.

Came for dinner on a busy Saturday night and had to use the valet service as it was the only option. It was reasonable at $9. The restaurant was packed and it was very lively and quite noisy. It was hard to hear conversation at your own table.
Our server and all the staff, were very friendly and polite. They all get a 5/5. The service was quite slow at times and there were long stretches in between visits and food being delivered but probably because it was so busy.
The food was fine. It was good but nothing spectacular that made you say it was the best meal you ever had. I found most of the items to be lacking in flavor but everything was prepared very well. The creamed corn was a standout however. The salad bar offered typical salad bar fare, like lettuce, veggies, fruit, pasta salad etc. Again, nothing that really stood out.
We got lucky and were seated by the windows overlooking the view so we got to see the sunset and the skyline lit up. Many people went outside to take pictures as it is very lovely from up there.
Overall, it was a “fine” experience. Not great but not bad either. If you want to have decent food and see the scenery, then this is a good option.

Our waitresses were incredibly kind and their service was good so this review has nothing to do with them at all.
We love the mining company but unfortunately our experience last night was disappointing. We had reservations and checked in and were told to wait either outside or at the bar while they prepared our table. We were then seated after a couple minutes in a room in the opposite direction to the main dining room and salad bar. The room we were seated in honestly looked like it had been already used by wedding guests earlier that day. The tablecloth was dirty with food stains from the previous people who sat there and the table was really wobbly.
I was excited to visit mining company for a special date night (that we really don’t get to have often) but felt disappointed that we couldn’t sit in the main dining hall where the salad bar is with nicer tables and a more romantic date night environment. To visit the salad bar from this room you have to walk past the bar and past the hostess stand into the main dining room which is just awkward because there’s a ton of foot traffic especially in front of the hostess stand. When we went to the salad bar, I was even more disappointed to find out that the main dining hall had numerous tables open that we could’ve been sat at.. we didn’t necessarily care for one with a good view either and last night was actually the most empty I’ve ever seen mining company. Overall.. for an almost $200 meal I was disappointed by the very odd seating situation. I don’t know what management was thinking with seating guests there. The food was nothing to complain about and the seating situation I’m describing sounds very much like a first world problem but I’m leaving this review so hopefully this doesn’t happen to other people because I can tell that the couples that were also seated in this room were not happy. Again, for an almost $200 meal i would expect better.

Everything was wonderful. Great view, the fillet mignon with scallops were excellent. A wonderful place to celebrate ❤️
Steven was our waiter and he did an excellent job taking care of our table. All of our food came out as ordered and was deliciously prepared. Prior to the day of our reservation I attempted 3 different times to make our reservation a little later in the evening due to a prior engagement. Each time Open Table said my time requested was not available. However, while we were dining there were many outdoor tables available the entire time we were there so I don't understand why my request could not be granted.
We had a great diner. It was for a birthday party. It was great service. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Old timey lowkey themed steakhouse. Really enjoyed the ambiance and the kitchyness of the place. Food was all good. Not Michelin star, but that's not what you're paying for. Make the trip, try this joint, and enjoy the view. The view almost kicked it up to 5 stars!
I had been to Orange County Mining Company many years ago and loved the ambiance. I had been wanting to take my mom there for a while, but just haven't had the opportunity to. My aunt and uncle came to visit so I decided we should all meet there. I made a reservation ahead of time, so a table was ready for us right when we arrived. The aesthetic is so fun, we all enjoyed the vibe there. The cheesy bread is to die for!! The salad and soup bar were delicious. We were not a huge fan of the spinach artichoke dip, it was just rather bland. I ordered the ribs, which were delicious and cooked so easy to fall apart! The other three ordered the filet mignon, which was not as flavorful as they had hoped. The mashed potatoes as a side were very good. We all shared the dessert cookie, which is very small. The waitress forewarned us, and we were completely fine with it as we were already so full! Also, the strawberry and cherry lemonades were yummy! Our waitress was wonderful, very attentive and friendly!! We will definitely return when in the area again. :)

The restrooms needed attention Two stalls didn't have toilet paper. One stall was very dirty. The restaurant is beautiful, the bathrooms shouldn't be in this condition at sll
It's always a great experience. We enjoyed our brunch. Are mimosas and will be back soon because we have family coming out of Town. And this is where we like to go. Great experience. Great time. Great for date night.
The food was wonderful and you can't beat the view. Also the service was outstanding as you would expect for what it cost to eat there.
The drinks were good.
The food was okay.
The bread was disappointing.
The salad bar was really good.
Loved the view.
Service was good.
Overall I liked it but didn't love it sadly.
