First time trying papi tacos ordered it thrpugh uber and all I can say hands down the best food i ever tasted didn't disappoint what so ever my husband and I loved it and it's difficult where my husband loves the food

I tried their carne asada and birria tacos. The carne asada was quite delicious. The burritos were okay. The service is really nice and quick, but I'd take off a point because the wooden tables near the windows were a bit sticky.

Where do I even begin? This place is so underrated. I usually come here for the birria tacos, absolute fire every time. But today I tried the carne asada for the first time, and wow… it was perfectly tender, with a rich smokiness that you could taste in every bite. Honestly, it’s the best carne asada I’ve ever had, and I’ve tried a lot. And the kicker? Less than three dollars. Unbelievable. Oh and they do bbq on weekends? That's what I'm trying next.

I heard about this place on IG, and I fell upon it. It was pretty good. The birria was delicious & the salsa was excellent. The dining area was a cozy industrial style layout with modern Mexican music playing. Got the birria quesadilla (large). Will for sure be making it back.

I don't understand the stars this place gets. The birria is not even worth rating. smoked chicken tacos is not a good option.. but maybe it's halal and that's why the craze.. anyhow.. 2 stars is generous. In my opinion if you're looking for authentic Mexican birria and tacos
Stopped here on a quick trip to Newport Beach and was so surprised! The food quality and the service were both amazing! I got the quesataco (essentially a tostada on a softer shell) and two churros with the dulce de Leche, both were so delicious! Will be recommending this place to all my friends!

Delicious birria and steak tacos with consommé. Also, they have a loaded bake potato! No alcohol served, but the Mexican cola is good. Bright interior. Next to a gas station.

Ordered the OG burrito, tortilla was fluffy and toasted perfectly. Unfortunately, half of my carne asada was gelatinous fat that I could barely stomach. Burrito wasn’t wrapped tightly enough and exploded halfway through. Consommé was so oily that it left a residue in my mouth, dipped/drank about 1/4 of the cup. Really wanted to like this place but maybe I’ll update my review in the future next time I come.
