This experience was so disappointing it deserves a warning. I stopped by Qdoba at John Wayne Airport expecting a quick, satisfying meal before my flight. Instead, I got a culinary disaster.
First off—no queso. At Qdoba. That’s like McDonald’s saying they’re out of ground beef. It’s their signature item, and the staff didn’t even offer an apology or alternative. Just a shrug and a “we’re out.” Not exactly confidence-inspiring.
Then came the burrito. I’ve had my fair share of airport food, but this was hands-down the runniest, sloppiest burrito I’ve ever encountered. It was like they blended the ingredients and poured them into a tortilla. The whole thing fell apart in seconds, leaking mystery sauce all over the tray. Flavor? Barely there. Texture? Disgusting. Presentation? Nonexistent.
For $20, I expected at least a decent meal. What I got was a soggy mess and a stomachache. Save your money and grab a granola bar from the newsstand instead. This Qdoba location is a disgrace to the brand.

Got the wrong order. 2 veggie bowls instead of chicken bowls. It was to-go order so I couldn’t return it.

No longer vegan options, bummer.
It was 10:15 am and I approached the kiosk which is right in front of the counter of this restaurant. I ordered breakfast with the understanding that they stopped serving breakfast at 10:30. At 10:25 an employee called my name and told me that they stopped serving breakfast so they could switch over to lunch. I told him that I placed my order at 10:15. The employee said he was sorry and that he could refund my money or I could change my order to lunch. I asked to speak to the manager and the employee said he was the manager. I told him that this was poor service. I pointed to their sign that said breakfast was available until 10:30. Not only can I not get breakfast from your restaurant, since the time is 10:25, I won't have enough time to find another restaurant to serve me breakfast because they all stop serving breakfast at 10:30. I was really disappointed and the manager didn't seem to care. I won't be going back to this location.
