The food was just okay and they don't list in the menu everything that's in the food so there were some onion surprises for people who don't like onion. Also, everything came out quite quickly and at the same time. Appetizer and main course. The food wasn't bad, just not almost $100 for two people good. The service was fine and the atmosphere was kitschy. I'm pretty sure the price is mostly the atmosphere, TBH.

Visited Rosa Madera for our first anniversary and it was such a memorable experience! The decor is absolutely stunning — very elegant and vibrant, perfect for a special occasion. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, and the staff were warm, attentive, and welcoming throughout the evening.
We noticed many guests celebrating birthdays, and the atmosphere was lively and full of positive energy. They even brought out a mariachi-style Mexican band hat and sang a celebratory song, which made the moment feel extra festive and fun.
Overall, a fantastic spot for celebrations and special nights out. Definitely worth visiting!

One of close friends Favorites places in Santa Ana to Dine out for special occasions specially on my birthday Celebration. Brought my friends and family party of 24.They have live Music going on, it's always busy specially on weekends the worth 1 hour wait. They have Authentic Mexican Dishes and the food taste Amazing 5 stars Well worth it! Great Service Jose & Bryant make sure every detail was covered from the start to the end. Im coming back to this joint. Great Drinks as well that u can't find anywhere else. Highly recommend.

I had a very disappointing experience at Rosa Madera while celebrating my daughters birthday. Our server Luna come to found out his name from the host. was incredibly inattentive and made our experience feel unpleasant. We sat for half an hour, completely done with our food, and he never checked on us—even though the restaurant wasn’t that busy at 5pm We had to flag him down several times as he was chatting with other staff members for refills.
To make things worse, he forgot our child's drink, which was frustrating. The food was overly salty, and the service overall was just not what I expected. I tried reaching out to management by phone, but their voicemail is full.

Went over with my friends and family on a Saturday evening place was full we joined the waitlist on person, well worth the 1 hour wait. The food was delicious the ambiance with the live band playing 10/10 also my server Luna was on point we got greeted and well taken care of by the manager Bryant maintain a communication from the beginning to the end. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to the rest of my friends

It’s was my first time going to this place after all the buzz… it was a bad experience the customer service was terrible first of all they told me that the wait was 30 mins and we waited two hours then this guy in the picture was so rude we ask about our table he just said that we can wait and take a seat then to find out this his a manager at this location he did not know what was going on just walking in and out I don’t recommend this place you won’t get the service that they say

When we asked for a recommendation they didn’t even let us finish our question when they already answered. To top it off, the food was mediocre at best and definitely didn't live up to the hype.

This was my 2nd time back to eat here and I brought my friend family with me. We went on Sunday brunch around 1pm and when we got there first thing we asked for was the coffee we order 5 of them. They let us know that they had run out but would make some for us in 15 to 20 mins we agreed to wait. After we order our food and appetizers and other drinks. Then we asked about the coffee we had been waiting for 25 mins and they notified us now they didn’t make it. I asked to speak with manager and she didn’t offer us anything for the disappointing service. I can saying I was really disappointed and my best friends family was as well.

I've eaten here a few times now. Each time I've had a great experience in regards to service and food. There can be a wait if it's a rush hour like most restaurants. The most I've waited is 45 mins. Today there was no wait time for a table (we also decided to eat dinner early around 5pm on a Monday). The staff are very friendly and attentive. The food comes out fresh. Menu is large and has many great options. Their aguas frescas are delicious, not overly sweet - just perfect. The restaurant is beautifully decorated too. A really nice restaurant to go to on a date or celebrating a special occasion. Thank you!
