This is my first time visiting Sankai and this is what I think.
Staffs : They are nice,Friendly and very helpful.I told them that was my first time and they recommended some good stuffs which I love.
Food : Decent size sushi and all the fish are fresh,Sushi rice seasoned perfect! .As a person who have sensitive stomach and almost every time I went to sushi place anywhere I often came back home with upset stomach but that was not the case this time,Soooo another point for this place.
Vibe : Nice,Clean and cozy.Eat,Chill and relax.Had a good conversation with good company and a good food! What else I could ask for.
Do I want to come back if I’m in the area? Absolutely YES!

This place really went downhill food wasn’t that good? Christ was way overpriced for what you got. Ambience was terrible. Very generic experience of Japanese food would not go back there again. Place was empty on a Saturday night. They need to improve their food and lower their price

I'm obsessed with Sankai Restaurant! This cozy Japanese gem has stolen my heart with its consistent awesomeness! Fresh seafood, scrumptious appetizers, and mouthwatering meals at prices that won't break the bank? Yes, please! But what really sets Sankai apart is its warm and fuzzy atmosphere (like a big hug!), knowledgeable chefs who know their stuff, and exceptional service that makes you feel like part of the family! Whether you're on a romantic date, meeting with colleagues, or just craving a delicious meal, Sankai is the perfect spot! The chefs' passion for using only the freshest ingredients shines through in every dish, and the staff's attentive service makes you feel like royalty! If you're looking for an authentic Japanese kitchen, definitely visit Sankai.

I used to come to Sankai Sushi years ago but stopped coming after changes in ownership led to bad quality sushi. However, I decided to give it another chance about a month ago, and I was pleasantly surprised. Each piece of Sushi reflected quality. The fish is impeccably fresh, and Chef Yoshi ensures great customer service. The sushi itself is amazing, sourced with care to ensure optimal flavor and texture. Whether you opt for traditional nigiri or inventive rolls, each bite is a testament to the chef's skill.

Tried Japanese after a while while visiting my friend in the neighborhood. The sushi was great. Uni and Unagi sushi were great. Tempura was ordinary - the batter wasn't crispy like it should be. My friend tells me the Bento box has shrunk when compared to a few years ago and missing a few things. Hot sake was ofcourse good, though.

It used to be good a few years ago. Maybe my opinion is biased bc my uncle was a chef over there, but when management changed, a lot of the good chefs, including my uncle, left from what I heard. My uncle said that the old owner was really friendly with staff and coustermers, but the new owner just snoops around and stares at the coustermers without at least saying hello. I went there last week, and the food had a significant drop in quality.
