This place is a time machine that transports me back to my grandmother's house. The tacos Dorado does not disappoint, and the tamales are🔥. The staff was friendly and attentive. You got to try this place

Food is very dry with little meat especially on the Tamales. The Tamales were wrapped very messy and for 3$ each; seems a bit of a rip off in my opinion.

How do you mess up rice? The rice was so dry, I'm going to get a tetanus shot. Rice was so dry, I was looking through my plate for sandworms.

I've had meals from here that were great, but if I'm paying 45 dollars for two people, I want food that was originally prepared that week. The horchata was powdered mix with way too little mix and too much water. 4.50 for a small water con Chalk dust. I want to introduce my suegra to the chefs, maybe she can teach them how to cook beans. The beans were soft in some spots and hard like rocks in others.

Lastly, the entree. The meat was cold, the flavor was acceptable, but it seems like they didn't even try to reheat the meat.

Places like this are why people are eating more at home. This place has history, but it seems like they left their recipes in the past.

For real though, how do you mess up rice?

This place is a tiny little place with great food. The tamales are great, as are the tacos, enchiladas, and chicharrones.

I've been coming here since the 60s. Lots has changed. No customers on a Friday evening. The burrito had more potato than meat. Keep cutting corners. Your once proud family business will be a memory.
