The barista calling out order names and directing mobile orders at 6am 7/18 was doing gods work today. She made the flow so much better and helped all of us half asleep travelers not lose our minds. Thank you!

Bought a drink and asked for an iced water and the rude barista said they couldn’t and then proceeded to give me hot water.

Rude service! I ordered three drinks and politely asked for a cup of water for my young son. The woman working behind the counter appeared to intentionally ignore my request. I repeated myself after waiting, and she eventually handed me the water—without saying a single word.
What stood out even more was that immediately after, she warmly said “Have a good day” to the man next to me. I couldn’t help but notice the difference in treatment. As an Asian customer, I’m left wondering if that was a factor. I hope that wasn’t the case, but the experience made me feel unseen and unwelcome.

I have to say that I had mixed feelings about my visit to the Starbucks located at John Wayne Airport this past Thursday. My server was Robert, and he greeted me with enthusiasm and took care to listen to my special request (decaf with hazelnut flavoring and cream and sugar.) That's where the good times ended. I ended up with a perfect combination of flavoring with cream and sugar, coupled with what I have come to know from Starbucks ... a metallic tasting coffee which was not worthy of the price. Will I visit a Starbucks again? Yeah, but only in an emergency. I am just not a fan of the coffee.

They are awful..... couldn't even get an ice water with my order. Huge long waits and really rude baristas. Went to McDonald's directly across from Starbucks. Got a drink and all the ice water I needed with absolutely no issue and great service. Maybe those Starbucks folks need some pointers from the McDonald's crew members across the way... Sadly Starbucks is becoming very overrated!

I want to review the people here not the coffee or service.
A person known to the Starbucks Partner had just experienced a traumatic emotional experience and the Starbucks Partner had a gift for her. Came around to the other side of the counter to genuinely connect from a heartfelt place.
The authentic personal connection I saw was brilliant.
With people like this working at Starbucks I am certain to come back for another coffee.☕️

It sucks when they turn off the Mobile order option which they do often and is frustrating because it forces you to order with a barista that has an attitude. Idk if it was a requirement when they were hired but they all have a negative attitude when you order.

Always way overcrowded to pick up a mobile order. People just stand too close to the table and the drinks aren’t even placed together once people start grabbing and searching for their drinks. I asked for help to find my drink and the person placing food on the table ignored me to continue stacking food on top of the table. A lot of this would just be solved with a larger area for food/drinks to be placed.

Rude and unprofessional.
The man in front of me asked for a drip with a bit of steamed half/half. They went to charge him extra- he asked when this started, and they simply said the charge for it. He said he’d like to have to for free like every other time he has gotten in- the manager said from the over area, “ no.”
Very unprofessional and unless this isn’t operated by corporate, they shouldn’t charge- and even if it’s isn’t run by them, corporate should not allow this.

Just a walk by and grab kind of Starbucks but it was good. Staff was very friendly and my barista made a nice hot Medicine Ball for me. Food selection wasn’t much as I didn’t see any sandwiches except for the breakfast varieties. Just glad there was a Starbucks in this terminal!

I came in to California from Seattle let me just say the customer service was the worst I’ve ever had. A girl named Melissa was handing out food. I was going to grab a straw and this EMPLOYEE snatched it out of my hand . Wow ! What horrible service. I never leave reviews and that behavior took me aback she should be fired that kind of service should be unacceptable. I will be calling corporate to find a way to complain.
