Attendants that work in the self checkout area are so MISERABLE and rude. I have asked for help very politely and they look at you like you are the scum of the earth and don't say anything to you. Like im not asking you to take care of my first born child im literally asking you to just scan your badge so i can finish checking out. Thats it. Not hard work at all. I know customer service is hard (I had worked in customer service for 8 years), but if someone is being polite with you, be polite back! Not asking for much. Just say you're welcome when we say thank you.

I like coming to this vons whenever I am in the santa ana area because it always has some great inventory, and all sorts of snacks that are not at my local grocery stores. Today hands down it was impressively straight. I just couldn't believe how neat the aisles were.

Dude, this Vons SUUUUUUUCKS! I've been going here for a while. Trader Joe's is much better and across the street. I've come here now to only buy soda and alcohol. Here are some reasons why. 1. 90% of the staff doesn't care why you're there, what you're looking for, or knowledge of general products. Most cashiers just talk shit on each other and YOU while you're in front of them. There ARE a few that are amazing, and I feel bad that they have to be surrounded by these people. 2. EVERYONE that works in the deli WILL ignore you, then when you're helped, they don't have what you need. Hot items, stale. 3. They got rid of most the Mexican products?!?!?!WTF!!?! 4. Meat. Old. Moldy. And even if it's good, it's not what you came there for. I wanted the butcher to ground some meat and he said he wasn't authorized?! 5. Seafood. NEVER!! Always spoiled, and you never know until you get home. I returned some seafood and the guy was like.... Yea.... I wouldn't buy that either. But he sold it to me!!! 6. There's a new manger that's horrible! Red hair. No eyebrows. Not nice. Trust me, she's in no mood to help. PLUS SIDE Most of the bakery dept is nice I do like a handful of cashiers, but they never seem to be there.

Do not underestimate the bakery department those ladies are amazing. I always come here for birthday cakes & ask what can/can't be done. It never hurts to ask about your ideas. I have been ordering for two years now and they never disappoint.

These people HATE their job!!! Butcher- "Hey, what's up?" Cashier and bagger I said "Thank you" and NO ONE RESPONDED WITH "YOU'RE WELCOME". I even looked them in the eye and said thank you! SO FUCKING RUDE!

Horrible service in the seafood department. At 5:30PM on November 25th I tried to buy a pound of salmon. Their cuts were all about 1.5 pounds. The guy who was working at this time seemed very perturbed about having to cut off the .5 pound. Due to their extremely high prices I made him cut off the extra after going back and forth with him. He ended up cutting off .2 pounds leaving me with 1.3 pounds and refused to cut it again. The store was extremely busy at this time so I didn't bother going to the manager. Stay out of Santa Ana if you can. I'll never be back!

Went to the meat department on thanksgiving at noon to grab a ribeye roast to find it closed. I stopped by the day before and the butcher told me they would be open on thanksgiving from 6am-3pm. There were 2 guys working at the meat department and they rudely told me that the meat department had been closed all day. If the meat department has been closed all day then why are you both standing behind it?? So rude and dismissive and on a holiday! I called another vons location 5 minutes away and their meat department was open. The service here sucks. Get new butchers!

Been shopping at this Vons for over 3 years and just had the worst experience today. There was a long line due to holidays so I decided to use the self-check out lane since I'm only buying a few items. After checking out, I left the store and was placing the purchased items into my car. A store employee named Arthur decided to follow me out into the parking out saying that I didn't pay for the "clams" and caused a huge scene at the parking lot. Not only was I embarrassed, I was shocked and confused as to why he only suspected me when other customer were going through self-check out with no issues. I usually throw away my receipts right after checkout but today, I'm glad I decided to keep my receipts. I was able to show him that I did not steal anything. After checking my receipt thoroughly, He left without explanations and did not even give a proper apology. By standers even said he handled the situation very unprofessionally. If he thinks that I missed an item during check out, he should've check it for me during check out, instead of waiting for me to leave the store and follow me to my vehicle to start a scene. If you're not Caucasian and you want to shop here, always keep your receipt and don't use their self-check out because they might think you're stealing.

I have been coming here since I was a kid. This place also has a Starbucks. I would definitely recommend this place to go grocery shopping. I am able to get my things quickly and also use self checkout. There are a wide variety of foods.

Deli department needs better training on how to properly slice meats and cheese. My capicola is always sliced thick (when asked for thin) and my provolone is always too thin that it breaks apart.

As a former Starbucks employee, I am absolutely embarrassed of this establishment. The Starbucks employees not only ruined both me and my husbands drink. They were passive aggressive when we made a simple request to add cinnamon dolce sprinkles on top of my drink. They were also rude by not attending to customers and playing on their cell phones instead, I especially thought the barista's names of Mia and Noe. I am used to going to Starbucks at least 5 to 10 times a week because of the supposed quality service of drinks and customer service which I received neither at this establishment. I will never come back to this one again. Mia allowed my Husbands cappuccino to air out, resulting in an extremely bitter drink. It doesn't help that the "Shaken Apple Oat milk Espresso" had no apple syrup in it. This Starbucks is in dire need of some retraining, or at the very least employees who care about the drinks they serve.

This starbucks was run by two people and very disorganized. I came for the 50% off deal on 10/26 and asked for a nitro cold brew. The cashier told me it was bogo 50% off but I clearly showed her the app which stated that all drinks are 50% off with no terms and she would not honor it. The employees are not aware of their own promotions and should be re-trained.

According to this Yelp it says good for working, but the employee told me that ALL Starbucks no longer have outlets for working so not true. I often work at Starbucks with outlets so may just be the ones that employee worked at. If you are trying to work do not come here.

The store is nice to walk through easy to grab however checker and clerk were more interested in their phones. Ivan had his lil AirPod in and was texting the whole time I don't think he even looked at us honestly. Try again next time
