I work at the airport. Didn't eat breakfast so I decided to order subway for breakfast. I mobile ordered on the app at 5:55pm. App said my order would be ready by 6:15am, I ask my manager to take my 10 minute break at 6:15pm so I could go to the other side of the airport to grab my sandwich quickly for breakfast. The app say's my order is ready at 6:15am, I walk across the airport and arrive at subway. No one showed up for work, the store said online it opened at 5am and the app told me my sandwich was ready. The store was completely dark and no food was out. Opening crew didn't show up for work. I still didn't get my sandwich. I can't report or cancel my order on the Subway app. Basically I wasted my 10 minute break and won't be able to take my next break until lunch.

Poor customer service. They ran out of bread, cookies, and other sandwich toppings. Didn't give enough portions and I felt scammed. Definitely money wasted. Not very sanitary either. I'm honestly disappointed and will not be returning. Management needs to reassess who they leave in charge.

staff was extremely rushed and rude, if you don't answer quick enough they will decide what you want for you. if you call out an issue with your sandwich they up-charge you to fix it. they tell you to have patience without having any themselves.

Beat subway I've ever been to! It stingy with the veggies at all. I was surprised really because this has never happened at a subway before! Very clean facility and plenty of seating. I will say that their chips were not stocked well and I asked if there were any more in the back and the employee said no. I also noticed no cookies stocked either. This will probably be my go to spot for food when I'm flying out of SNA.

Horrible service. How can they be out of bread at lunch? The soda machine was out. One worker. 30 minute wait and he only helped 4 people.

We go through Orange County Airport a couple of times per year when we visit Disneyland, and have used this Subway both when arriving for a quick/early lunch or as we're leaving for a dinner. As far as Subways go, this one is definitely below average, but the food is still ok, although located as far away as possible from most of the active gates. The problem is the hours. Last week, we had an 8:30PM flight home and wanted to grab a couple of sandwiches for the plane. Alas, they were wiping down and closed at 7:30 in the evening. Seriously, there are a ton of flights still leaving well after 7:30 and it would be helpful to keep this place open later. 3 stars lowered to 2 because of hours.

At 6 am, there aren't a lot of quick places to eat inside John Wayne Airport that isn't McD's or Carl's Jr. Luckily, Subway was there to save me with a nice, light sandwich. This particular morning, you could tell all the locations were a little understaffed. Everyone is looking for help. The loan worker though was great. I could tell he was working hard, trying to balance taking orders, making food, and still trying to get everything open. I was super sad though when he told me they were getting ready to close in a couple of months. Another restaurant is coming in to take its place. With limited breakfast offerings, especially those that could be considered somewhat healthy and light, this is not good for John Wayne. While I don't visit John Wayne airport that often, I think I've always bought a sandwich at Subway. Either to eat right there, or take on the plane. It will be missed.

I've eaten at this particular subway at least a half a dozen times and they never have anything you want. I'm not asking for anything special, just the things that are on their menu. Warning.....if you want to eat here, just have a few back-up choices.

Didn't think about Subway at the airport, but it was an excellent, freshly-made alternative to fast food, bars, or just snacks. The line was long, but the staff worked super fast.

If my review was helpful to you, please like it! I ordered online and used the Honey App to save myself more money and earned points. Pick up was easy between gates 13 and 14 post security. Folks were awesome and kind. As usual, eating fresh.

Worst subway I've been to. Doesn't have hardly any of the breads they should even though it's lunch time, no cheese nothing hardly. If you want to be a good sandwich shop maybe you should have the stuff people want. Go somewhere else

They it had 2 types of bread and out of some of the veggies. Otherwise it was a good experience and the sandwich was good

How can you run out of bread at a sandwich shop? Stood in line to get lunch only to find out that their out of bread and it would be another 30-45 minutes before any bread would be available. Poor management on that one. Don't rely on this place being able to serve you.
