Review:
I recently had the pleasure of dining at this hidden gem of a sushi restaurant, and it was nothing short of an authentic Japanese experience. The sushi chefs here are true masters of their craft. From the moment you sit down, you're greeted with a warm smile and a few jokes that make the entire experience even more enjoyable. It's rare to find such a combination of skill and personality in a sushi bar.
The quality of the food is outstanding. Every piece is meticulously prepared, and the flavors are impeccable. The scallops were incredibly tender, and the tuna belly just melted in my mouth—easily some of the best I've ever had. Even the iced tea was a pleasant surprise, perfectly brewed and refreshing.
The restaurant itself is easily accessible, with plenty of parking available, making it convenient for anyone in the area. This is more than just a place to eat; it’s a true sushi experience that feels both traditional and welcoming. Anyone who appreciates authentic sushi would be lucky to find this spot.
Highly recommended!

Have been a few times for dinner in years past but came by with my husband for lunch on a Saturday after opening. They changed the way they do lunch a bit but it ended up working perfectly: we had their hand sushi special. The waitress who helped us was so graceful and kind, and our food came out quickly. Everything was wonderful and tasted fresh. My husband is a notoriously picky eater but loved everything we had.

Deliciously quality sushi with wonderful service. I have been at this place for more than 20 hrs. A bit expensive nowadays because they only offers omasake. Worth a treat once a while, not like old days where I stopped by once very couple weeks.

Came here for lunch with my colleagues. They only offer chirashi $38 or 12 pieces of nigiri sushi platter $40 for lunch, there are no bentos if that’s what you are looking for. Just simple sushi. We all got the sushi platter. Everyone enjoyed the quality. I do enjoy the dinner time omakase better since you are able to enjoy one piece at a time versus all on the platter. Overall, great sushi and service.

Service is ok.. I wanted to order a drink and it was not easy to get the waitress attention.
Vegetarian options: Soup, salad, cucumber roll.. ect
Parking: Parking lot of the Brea mall. You'll find parking but not guaranteed to find it near this restaurant.. sometimes.

Brilliantly and uniquely seasoned and sauced, if you haven't had their Omakase you haven't really eaten sushi. They serve a joyous meal here every time.

This is a great, underrated omakase spot in OC and has been around a long time. It is traditional, unpretentious, and almost nostalgic in a way compared to the many overpriced trend-chasing omakase restaurants that have cropped up in recent years. I found the quality and freshness of the fish to be excellent, and I enjoyed their effective use of torching to get a nice savory charred flavor on some of the pieces. The garnishes and seasonings used were fresh and flavorful without overpowering the delicate seafood -- scallion soy oil, ginger paste, seasoned salt, and of course the fancier caviar and shaved truffle featured on our 12-piece omakase, complementing each item without overdoing it. The accompanying puffed rice soup (served in a teacup) had no business being as good as it was. Prices were reasonable given the quality, beer and sake selection was good, and service was attentive and friendly. Parking was plentiful. Overall, a classic and comfy omakase experience worth experiencing -- these folks deserve your support.

One of the best sushi restaurants in Orange County! Excellent service with a delicious omakase selection. They no longer have the wagyu as part of their omakase selection, but it can be ordered as a side.
