I had lunch at this restaurant yesterday (October 14, 2025) and was amazed at the experience. This is the best sushi I've ever had and an incredible spot/atmosphere. The staff was very attentive and friendly, and the quality of food was absolutely out of this world. I will definitely be back.

Taberu Sushi has completely ruined other sushi spots for me — in the best possible way. From the moment you walk in, the staff makes you feel like family. The atmosphere is calm and elegant without being pretentious — you can tell they actually care about the experience, not just the turnover.
The fish? Incredibly fresh. You can taste the care in every piece — perfectly balanced rice, clean cuts, and just the right temperature. The chef’s omakase was mind-blowing: every course felt personal, like a small story told through flavor. Even the simple things — the miso soup, the ginger, the plating — are done with precision.
Service is flawless: attentive but never hovering. They remember faces, favorite rolls, and somehow always time everything perfectly.
Whether you’re a sushi purist or just someone who appreciates real craftsmanship, Taberu Sushi is one of California’s quiet treasures. I’d give it ten stars if I could.

What an amazing place! My wife and I stipped for a quick lunch. I learned more about different fish species than anywhere else I've been. If you are a sushi fan - then this is a must - ask for the Rubyfish. The tuna and toro was amazing - today from Spain. It varies based on water temperature and season, so the selection of tuna is always rotating. Will definitely be back! Service from April was outstanding!

If I could give service 6 stars I would. This is the closest thing to upscale Japanese dining I have been to in a while. I could not stop ordering food it was so good. The craft beer they have is AMAZING to the point I want to see if I can pitch in on the next order of BAEREN BEER!!! Try a bottle, it's magic if you love beer.
The salmon is amazing, but my favorite was the hamachi! My children loved the salmon and bulgolgi bowls!
We ordered 2 assorted tempura, gyoza, sashimi and sushi, 2 specialty rolls, and 4 beers. We are absolutely coming back!
