Great spot. The food here is amazing. Don't forget to try the Alpastor tacos with the pineapple salsas that they have at the salsa bar.

Tacompadre in Santa Ana is a total winner! Let me tell you, their quesabirria tacos are the stuff dreams are made of. The birria is melt-in-your-mouth delicious, and they don't skimp on the filling. But the real star is the crunchy flour tortilla. It's the perfect balance of texture to the juicy goodness inside.Looking for something a little different? The suadero alambre is a must-try. The suadero (skirt steak) is cooked to perfection, and the whole thing is overflowing with melty cheese. They don't forget the veggies either, which adds a nice freshness to the dish. And to top it all off, don't miss the chocoflan. It's the perfect ending to a fantastic meal. Creamy chocolate meets decadent flan in this delightful dessert.Overall, Tacompadre is a hidden gem in Santa Ana. Amazing food, friendly service, and a great atmosphere. I'll definitely be back!

Omgosh, the food was absolutely delicious! Ordered a quesabirria and nacho fries with birria. I cannot tell you enough just how savory and juicy everything was. Definitely going back because it's almost rare to find a place that has actual great Mexican food.

Disappointed with this place despite having a bunch of good reviews. Atmosphere was ok service was ok. However the food was not great at all. On top of that it was pretty expensive i think we spent like $86 in total. Group of 5 came in to get food and try out a new spot. Food looked good on the menu and online but once we got our orders it wasn't looking good. Beans looks dry and grayish in color. Rice looked dry as well. All of our plates were served cold except for the alambre plate. All of our taco and burrito plates were cold. Asada tasted like soy kinda, pastor was salty and greasy. Torilla chips were way too salty too. Cochinita tacos were ok bot the best. Overall, had a bad first time experience being the Food was cold and super greasy. Don't think we'll go back to the restaurant.

Food served wasn't as presented on their site. Asada was completely dry and no flavor, tortilla didn't taste homemade, beans were watered down and rice was overly salty.

Excellent service! We are a big group and even though they weren't providing service yet, they let us inside to sit while we waited. Then they attended us briefly and with outstanding service. The tacos are big and the tortilla is delicious. We hope to come back soon!!

I ordered the tacos; birria, asada, and cochinita meat with rice and beans. My kids got the asada fries. Spend about 60 bucks and the food was gross. Beans tastes like canned rosarita beans. Yuk! Rice was okay. Tortillas were soggy and hard at the edges, cochinita meat was really salty, birria has a very strong flavor of, im assuming, bay leaves. We all ended up only eating half of our plate. We also got Jamaica which was really bitter and not very sweet and horchata which wasn't great but not the worse. We will not be coming back. Service was okay so no issues there but the food was not good.

Pizza was super good! I've had a lot of pizza from different places and I have to say this was top 3 for sure!

Sadly disappointing w all the good reviews on here and help- Carne asada was a cold temperature and was doused in soy sauce like flavor (?) We couldn’t finish them. The queso tacos were good. A bit worried about eating meat that wasn’t at the proper temp. Rice and beans also not hot. After the fact found a review saying same re temp from awhile back. Please do make sure for food is safe, understand some restaurants may be just off the mark but temperature is just plain food safety! Very nice staff and nice atmosphere, so hope they turn things around!

I ordered the asada nachos and it did not disappoint. Loved the warmed crunchy chips, the asada was moist and tender!
