All in all pretty good but just a couple minor things made me remove a star.I ordered 4 tacos, $2 each and $3 for the tripa. They also threw in a small tostada with beans and grilled onions.Tripa was pretty good especially since I got it extra crispy. They kind of made it too crunchy though so next time I’ll just get the normal tripa without extra crispy.Al Pastor was good, but they don’t serve it with a piece of pineapple here.Buche was not that good. It was kind of rubbery and flavorless.Cabeza had a nice soft melt in your mouth texture, but the flavor was also lacking.

I enjoy coming here for late night cravings. It's consistently good and I appreciate their selection of salsas. Service is very quick and efficient. 10/10 recommend.

Favorite taco truck in OC. Great people and cheapest food. Cash only though. Open late throughout the night.

Taqueria Ayutla Oaxaca proved to be a reliable spot for a late-night taco fix, offering a satisfying experience with a couple of notable highlights. Adobada Taco (3.5/5): The Adobada Taco presented a flavorful blend of marinated pork, and while it was tasty, it didn't quite reach the heights of excellence. The seasoning was good, but the overall flavor didn't stand out as much as I had hoped. A decent choice, but not a standout on the menu. Cabeza Taco (3.5/5): Similarly, the Cabeza Taco earned a 3.5/5 rating. The slow-cooked beef head meat was tender, and the taco had a satisfying richness. However, it lacked the wow factor that sets certain tacos apart. It's a reliable option for those who enjoy cabeza tacos, but it didn't leave a lasting impression. Additional Notes: - Taqueria Ayutla Oaxaca's late-night hours make it a convenient spot for those craving authentic tacos after hours. The fact that they are open late adds to the appeal, providing a tasty option for night owls in search of a satisfying meal. - One of the positives is the availability of decent parking, making it hassle-free to grab a late-night snack without worrying about finding a spot for your vehicle. - The green avocado-based salsa was a standout condiment. Its creamy texture and mild spiciness added a delightful kick to the tacos. It's worth trying for those who enjoy a good salsa to enhance the flavors of their meal.

Cash only This place is a food truck in Santa Ana near the South Coast Metro area. We were craving tacos late on a Friday night and this place is open late. We ordered the al pastor and asada tacos ($2 each) and the portions were good. They had cilantro and onions on the side along with a salsa station with three to choose from. The tacos were delicious and I liked the varying levels of spice with the salsas. It also came with a taco with beans and grilled onions which were a nice touch. Bonus points for having a place to sit and eat too. This place satisfied my late night cravings and were solid tacos for a great price.

Hands down 100% THE BEST TACO TRUCK in ALL of OC. Big Bold Statement here. This place is truly a hidden gem in OC!I love tacos, I eat tacos about 2-3 times a week, so I definitely know a good truck from a bad truck. My favorite spots USED to be Rigoberto's Taqueria Truck and El Chavito Truck, but not anymore!I'll say it again, this place is THE BEST TACO TRUCK IN ALL OF OC...here are some reasons why:-the tacos are only $1-this truck is open until 3AM (thank the heavens for we have a solution for drunk munchies)-this is the ONLY taco truck in OC that has a rotating spit for the Al Pastor. THIS IS THE ONLY WAY THAT AL PASTOR TACOS SHOULD BE SERVED!-delicious salsa-freaking delicious tacos. Yah, I know what your thinking, tacos that normally go for $1 taste horrible. NOT HERE!With 4.5 stars on yelp, this is definitely the spot to go to for Tacos.Come early if possible, the line for this taco truck gets long! I'm talking Grand Opening of The Halal Guys Costa Mesa long! This truck is so insanely delicious that (last night) there was already a line already forming around the area where the truck would park! Crazy right!?? There was no truck present, but people were still willing to go early just to line up for first dibs! Still to this day, its still blows my mind. Its one for thing for people to wait in line early for a restaurant, but I haven't never heard of people lining up early for a food truck...especially a taco truck!UNTIL THEN!! ^-^
