Travel Nurse here. Just moved to this place and decided to give it a shot on my first night. Big mistake. Worst customer service I’ve experienced. Got stuck with Angel, who had a terrible attitude, and to top it off, they actually charged me $5 for a cup of ice. Ridiculous.

If I could give zero stars I would. The tacos were so bad. The asada was basically rocks. As a Mexican person I assure you these are not Mexican tacos.

The food is good but the employees are very despotic and take forever to have the food ready, they do not have an order in delivering the food

I was a regular at this restaurant. Never came across any issues. Until one day me and my girl we're eating some loaded nachos and we found a COCKROACH ? in our food. Imagine if we wouldn't have seen it. We would have gone without notice since it was chips. The crunch would have blended in. I was so sad, I loved this place. Sad, haven't been here since then.

I used to visit this restaurant frequently and the food was delicious, but the last two times the food was very bad. My son ordered chorizo tacos and they were well cooked and my son came home vomiting and with a stomach ache.

Beef tacos are $3.09 each , tiny, have no flavor and many chunks of fat. Getting the tacos also took more than 10 minutes and we're sitting on the counter. Don't waste your money here.

I’m saddened to make this post as my bf and I have been regular fan customers for the last two years. Yesterday was our last time going to Taquerias Guadalajara on 4th street in Santa Ana unless we see that the building is closed and fumigated. Yesterday we ordered Super Nachos de carne asada and the chilaquiles plate. After my bf and I started eating the nachos we noticed a WHOLE COCKROACH inside the nachos. We were absolutely disgusted and called Taquerias to report what we had found and requested a refund. The manager reported that they had never had anyone else find anything of the like before and that they have fumigation services every month and refunded our food. They assured us that they threw out all the food that was used in making the nachos and that they were cleaning out to see if they found any more. I’ve debated whether or not to post this as this restaurant has been a personal favorite, but I believe that the people should be aware of this incident and be cautious with what they put into their bodies. I hope they are able to close and fumigate the building to assure that this does not happen again.

Great location, good outdoor and indoor seating. Extensive menu beyond the typical taqueria items. The waitress told me their most popular item is ahogada (sandwich), so I gave it a try. It was pretty good. It was basically a wet beef sandwiches with a delicious sauce. Overall, it was a little salty and a bit spicy for my taste (I ordered mild) but I was glad I tried it.My wife got the Carne plate, the meat was also very good. The setting was simple and clean, there is Mexican music playing indoor. We have a puppy dog so we ate outdoors, it was pretty comfortable and we can immerse in the downtown Santa Ana vibe.Tip: the restroom was clean, it required a 25c coin, if you ask the counter, they’d give you a token.

Parking: there is a paid parking lot next to the restaurant, it didn’t charge us anything (Saturday evening about 6-7pm), I didn’t have a chance to check the grace period.

So overpriced. was charged $22 for a plate with just chicken, beans and rice for my kids. Food was ok. Just so not worth the prices.

Indoors but feels like outdoors, doors and windows everywhere. The one private or lowkey nice area employees are there eating and relaxing, so that’s nice second time I miss out in the picture wall.

Prices are ridiculously high and customer service by Paulette (name on receipt) was rude and very unprofessional. If you don’t want to serve and take the time to answer my questions regarding portion size, and pricing then maybe you should be in a different industry.
Overall cleanliness 3/5 it looks like she was taking the front care herself and the others were still on a very good break.

I've been to 4th Street before, but I never noticed this place. Decided to stop by when I was in the area. Ordered the taco de papas, carne asada plate, campechana, and al pastor nachos. Everything was delicious. The plate was shareable between my husband and I. The nachos were super tasty. Loved the octopus in the campechana. Prefferred to eat it with chips though instead of the crackers they serve it with. They do sell beers and micheladas here. However, I opted for a mexican cola. Service was okay. Wasn't really greeted when I came in, or wasn't attended to when I needed to order. I kind of had to wave and flag somebody down, and did not get that girl's name. However, the service I received by Blanca was better. She was super sweet. There's lots of seating inside, but I think there's also seating outside.

Way too overpriced it's ridiculous. $6.99 for a single quesa taco is insane (not including tax). Employee possibly named Paulette who took our order was super rude right off the bat. She got annoyed when my bf asked for "street tacos", since they sell various types of tacos. She even had to look at their own menu to understand what he was saying. From there she was giving us dirty looks the entire time we were eating and even when we left. This is our second time coming here and she's had attitude both times. Most of the time people were also waiting in line for their order to be taken while she was busy chitchatting in the back. Food was good but service was not. Not surprised that their tip jar was empty.
