They are overly priced if we compare the tea maru shops in other places they are cheaper then this one in Santa Ana. They made us pay extra fortoppings as well. Definitely a one star rating.

Found this little boba shop in while I was visiting the nearby apartments. I think they are in soft opening now. They have handcrafted drinks and I tried the fluffy matcha with strawberry and it was delicious! Will definitely be back to try other drinks.

Way over price and not enough topping. Not easy to find parking at this location too. $7 drink plus extra for topping. We got what? A table spoon worth of boba and taro. This is robbery. Milk taste good but it is just milk.

I was excited to have this boba place opening in the neighborhood and I've heard of good things about their homemade boba. However, i was pretty disappointed- could be because of poor execution of making the drinks. I tried both Okinawa tea latte (with Brown Sugar boba) and Uji Matcha latte (mango boba) with less ice and 25% sugar - both drinks came out with a ton of ice (about half a cup) and very sweet. The Okinawa one at least still tasted like tea, but the matcha one had so little matcha that it basically tasted like diluted milk...The brown sugar boba was decent, but the Mango one was flavorless and I would not recommend it. Since they just opened not long ago, I will be open to try it out again and maybe they will work out the kinks and mix better drinks!

I had a disappointing experience at this boba place. I ordered 2 drinks on Doordash, got an email shortly after saying my order was ready. When we arrived at the store, only one person was working. I feel bad because she was clearly overworked. It took another 15 minutes before we finally got our drinks. The taste of the drinks was a true letdown. The cheese foam oolong tea was disappointingly devoid of flavor. It tasted more like sweetened water. The cheese foam was not creamy and didn't taste like cheese at all. And as for the taro drink, there wasn't even the slightest hint of taro flavor. It again tasted like sweetened water with milk. Overall, with the abundance of boba places in the area, I would not recommend this place.

There's only 10 people max in the store. It's so tiny; I'm happy there was a restroom in there. It is in a very boujie location though with its own retail parking for 2 hours. I like the architecture here; it's beautiful and modern. The drink itself is pretty yummy. I wish they had vegan milk substitutes though. I'm not sure I taste the fluffiness, but it tastes smooth and whipped. I guess I'm glad I opted for boba this time because it's chewy and the perfect texture. My only thing is I wish the café was bigger, so I could sit down and whatnot. But otherwise, a lovely little place worth visiting.

They nicely gave us a sample of the mango boba when we asked, and it was good—soft but chewy with a nice mango flavor and not overly sweet. I ordered the classic brown sugar boba thinking it would be similar but was unfortunately wrong. I don’t know if it was the batch but it was too soft in an almost crumbly, not chewy way, and with a bumpy surface, both things I associate (whether correctly or not) with old/not fresh boba. I’d like to try the sweet potato boba but it seems they don’t always have it, and I probably won’t go back when there are tons of other consistently great boba places around.

Ordered the fluffy matcha strawberry drink with strawberry and honey boba. It was delicious! The only thing is that the strawberry and honey boba were flavorless. I couldn't differentiate between the two. The texture was nice though.

This was my first time coming here. The Uji matcha latte is delicious and it tastes better with 100% sweet. I love their boba they are soft and chewy. The server was really nice and friendly even fix my drink when I didn't like less sweet. The store is clean, nice, and spacious. I would definitely come back here if I'm near the Santa Ana area. I even definitely want to try their other drinks on their menu as well.

It is a cute space that can only hold 10 people. There isn't any seating inside or outside so you might have to walk to the other coffee shop nearby to sit. The drinks are cute and well proportioned. I got the kiwi citrus, taro storm, strawberry blast, uji matcha latte, strawberry slush, and Grapefruit fantasy.

Really cute and service is good! Also drinks came out super fast which was a plus. Unfortunately we weren't a huge fan of the drinks. The jasmine tea with cheese foam didn't have a rich jasmin tea flavor, the cheese foam was overpowering the tea flavor and didn't taste very authentic, the cheese foam also wasn't very rich either so it kind of just tasted like watered down cream. And the strawberry matcha just tasted like strawberry milk when mixed, the matcha flavor wasnt strong enough. with some tweaks im sure they have potential to become great!

After being recommended by some friends to make a drop by to get boba here I will say I'll definitely be coming back. Although it is a little hard to find because this shop faces directly toward the street it is definitively worth making the trip to find. I ended up ordering a Taro storm with 75% sugar and oat milk and it was wonderful. But I will say that I definitely have to give this place a shoutout for the wonderful staff they have working here. When I came in my server was a guy named Brandon. He went through the menu with me and helped me to make sure that I ordered something I liked, he was very kind and patient about everything as I was a little overwhelmed by the variety that they provide here. He made the drinks quickly and was even kind enough to continue a conversation with me while he was working on my order to make sure that I wouldn't feel uncomfortable or awkward waiting alone in the store. Overall great place to come check out if you're exploring the area!

Five stars because of their Strawberry Fluffy Matcha alone! Best I've tried so far. I just wish parking is easier to find. My daughter usually gets my order as I wait in the car, but I got a spot the last time I went and I was met with good service. The worker there was nice, friendly, and efficient. This is probably my favorite boba shop and I'd be here a lot more often if I lived close to it.

4/5 drink... matcha was really strong which was good and homemade boba is decent. They did let us try the regular strawberry and regular boba which was very kind. I would argue that the strawberry homemade boba was not as firm as the regular boba. The ambience felt off... a little bland. No music, very small space, just white, not much decor/theme. Service was great thoughParking is a little bit of a walk, and by that, I mean the store is not right off the sidewalk. There's a couple stores you have to walk past; it's on the outside facing the Main Street.
