You know a real torta ahogada on first bite, and these are definitely made the same way I remember them from Guadalajara growing up, definitely a place I will visit every time I'm in the area, only thing I wish is that there was seating space, other than that 100% recommended.

Kid-friendliness: I mean, its a tack truck, so there are no kids 'amenities' other than a big open parking lot they could run around in, adult supervision recommended.

So we moved from Southern California to Chicago, and of course, aside from missing our family, the great Mexican food is also being missed. One place that we really loved was the tortas ahogadas from Los Primos in Santa Ana. Yes, on my trip last year back home to visit family, I off course got me 10 tortas, and the owner graciously packed them for me to take back home on the flight, and they were awesome. Now, they deliver!! We are super excited to be their first delivery...
