Had the Drunken Fries with Rattlesnake and Rabbit Sausage and it was absolutely delicious ? definitely recommend coming here for a beer and food in DTSA. Or if you are walking from another bar and need something to soak up your drinks, this is a place to do it with good eats. Service was a touch slow, but it could've been due to low staff or it being busy for trivia night. And they do cook the food fresh upon order (they had a sign at the register) so it is piping hot (which my food was ??). I cannot argue with any of that

Ehhh… the beer was good. Had the lunch special bratwurst. Bread was good on the sandwich. But the brat is so small, half the sandwich is just bread in each bite. The casing on the brat was hard and unpleasant and the brat itself was red (not white) and not so tender, juicy or enjoyable. The fries were not crisp (total waste on these). The toppings were good for the brat. Wish they had the dark brown sweet mustard from Germany. Good to try. No need to come back. I was the first customer of the day and the food took 25 min to come out. Wow. Enjoyed the beer during that time tho.Oh, they were 100% out of pickles too which sucked. Those are usually free with your order so it was a major bummer they couldn’t keep them in stock.

Our son found this place and suggested we go sometime and we were so happy we did!! The food was so delicious! Cooked to perfection! We got a variety of sausages, Belgian fries, and German Pretzels with cheese.Sausages were cooked perfectly with a crisp bite to the skin and a juicy, flavorful inside.So much good food!! The pretzels and pretzel buns are SOO good too!The selection of beers is amazing! I like hard cider personally and they had a great cranberry hard cider on draft. It was delicious as well!We cannot wait to go back! They have many booths, and a looooong, long table to sit at.You order when you first enter, and sit down. They bring you your food at the table you choose to sit at.Friendly service from the start to the end!

Went for the free salsa dancing lessons and the social dancing afterwards. Nice thing to do of looking for something free and fun at the dance time. It’s hold the first Saturday of the month (as of today tho, lol 2023/2024) hopefully it will keep happening cause it’s really nice to have something to do on a Saturday night and especially if it’s free! Nice friendly crowd and any level dancers attend, from totally beginners to intermediate, obviously the advance don’t attend this kind of events (would be awesome if they would!)Any ways, definitely recommended when nothing else or better to do any first Saturday of the month.

happy Hour was 8pm-close! Great beer, as shown was the happy hour beer. Crazy German beer selection. We got the works, 3 sausage sampler, and the loaded fries. So amazing, fresh, grilled to perfection and the fries so perfect. All this food for 55$ including tip. Try the Nuremberg! It’s veal, and almost like a breakfast sausage. The Wagyu is always amazing! The fries have a great sauce with grilled onions! Great German style date night! Oh and the bread is so soft and crispy on the outside. Idk how they do it!

My fiance has been coming to this place for years and I can see why. The food and drinks are delicious and unique. They have such a wide array of beers and ciders on tap, you are bound to find something perfect. I have been able to try so many beers I'd never heard of.The atmosphere of this bar is also perfect for a friendly catch up. I did not see any TVs, so don't come to watch the game.Overall a must visit in Santa Ana!
