I’ve loved everything I’ve eaten from Alessia, especially the croissants! The cake decorator went above and beyond on this cake for my friends’ going away celebration. It was delicious too!

Edit: Great food again as usual!Original Post: I love this place and come here regularly. But today was dissapointed that my french onion soup had barely any onion, with an overly salty broth. Will update this review next time I come when the food is (hopefully) as good as it is normally

This place is amazing. All the pastries are delicious. Not overly sweet or buttery like Andersons can be. Ham and cheese Danish is my go to. The croissants are perfect, buttery soft and light crunch on the outside.

Stopped here for brekky while in town for an event and would move here to visit every day if I could. Excellent pastries and coffee. Only downside was a longer-than-seemed-normal wait for the drinks and not much of a place to wait for takeout to be ready as they focus on dine in customers. But my chai latte was one of the best I’ve ever had and my partner’s mocha was rich and chocolately. The cheese and herb croissant roll was to die for!!! Had finished 2/3 of it before I remembered to take a photo. And I loved the special edition mint chocolate croissant. So unusual and pretty.

Delicious pastries with unique flavors. The pistachio crème croissant was definitely a favorite. The pistachio cream inside was such a tasty compliment to the flaky exterior and the solidified pistachio exterior. The savory pastry with chile, Gruyère and caramelized onion was also delicious as was the bacon, cheddar and chive scone. Wish I lived closer so I could come back again and again and try all the pastries. Service was fast and friendly, there was a line on Saturday morning but for take away it was quick and efficient.

My favorite bakery by far. I've bought croissants from Alessia regularly and also ordered desserts for a fundraiser. I never really understand the seating when I go, but thankfully I usually am ordering items to-go.

The service is always friendly and patient here! It’s so hard to choose from the pastries. They are all so delicious and there are so many unique and fun flavors. This is our go-to spot in town when we want to impress someone with our local pastry scene or just indulge ourselves.

We had our wedding in Santa Barbara in September and Alessia Patisserie was highly recommended by several of our local vendors, and for good reason! They were so easy to work with, and delivered exactly at the time they said they would. We are so happy they were able to do our wedding cake, it was beautiful, looked exactly as I hoped, and tasted amazing (red velvet flavor). We also ordered a sheet cake in their lemon chiffon flavor which was lighter and very, very good.

Best croissants , love the desserts there. A good alternative on custom cakes , i was able to find the menu on website and order that way with pick up at the cafe on the day needed. On both occasions cakes were crowd pleasers

Best salad in town, best cookie in town, incredible pastries, amazing service, beautiful food, this place is an absolute GEM. Harvest salad with chicken and chocolate chip cookie. Order them. And everything else.

I had a wonderful brunch here. I got the duck confit hash, side of potatoes, an almond croissant, and a chocolate hazelnut croissant. The duck confit hash was so delicious. The egg was perfectly poached. The duck meat had a bit of char to it so it had that smoky flavor. In hindsight, I should’ve gotten a side of fruit instead of potatoes since clearly a hash is comprised of potatoes. But I’m glad I did order them because they came with roasted tomatoes, which added a lovely acidity. The pastries here are out of this world delicious. So far I’ve had their banana hazelnut kouign aman, an almond croissant, and a chocolate hazelnut croissant. All three are delicious. I don’t think you’ll have any regrets with whatever pastries you order. And I use the plural pastries because you should get more than one or else you’re gonna have a fear of missing out.My friend and I sat inside and the seats are really comfortable. My friend also noted the chandelier and how cute it was. It’s a small dining area but they do have outdoor seating. Service was really friendly and welcoming. My boss recommended this place and I can see why. The pastries are beautiful as they are delicious as well as their entrees. I will come back and try more of the brunch items and to get more pastries whenever I’m in Santa Barbara.

I decided to have a weekend getaway in Santa Barbara before a work conference in LA. As you can see from my previous review, the owner reached out to me and invited me back. I ordered the duck confit hash and it was so delicious and satisfying. I love cutting into a poached egg and see the yolk run, and it did just that. The silky texture of the yolk with the crispy, charred bits of duck meat plus the fluffiness of the potatoes was the perfect bite. I thoroughly enjoyed this dish. I also got a side of potatoes, which stupid me forgot that the hash is comprised of potatoes. But I enjoyed them, especially because they came with roasted tomatoes which added the acidity I needed. I also enjoyed an almond croissant and a chocolate hazelnut croissant. The pastries here are out of this world! You can't go wrong with whichever one you choose. For me, it's FOMO because I want just want to try all of them. If I still lived here, I know I would get a pastry a day to try all of them. I really enjoyed sitting inside, especially because it was a hot day. The seats are very comfortable. And the staff are extremely friendly. My friend who grew up in SB and still lives here joined me. We hadn't seen each other in years and so enjoying my time with her over delicious food was a joyous occasion. She surprisingly had never been to Alessia's and wants to come back, especially with friends from out of town. She loves quiches and enjoyed hers. I want to thank Alessia's for a wonderful time. I will be coming back here whenever I'm in Santa Barbara.
