This is one of the best restaurants in Santa Barbara. My girlfriend and I love taking out of town guests here. So much flavor. Love the Naan bread combos. It’s a must try place!!

As an Indian who is frequently asked which Indian restaurant would I recommend that actually tastes Indian (not Americanized Indian)- I can attest this is PERFECT! We had Tandoori chicken (so juicy and not laden with color), Punjabi Fish fry (perfectly cooked) , traditional chicken curry (not your usual curry- this was what I grew up eating made with freshly ground ingredients , very Punjabi!) , and Dal of the day (Dal makhani really well seasoned and cooked). Must go!

The food was such a disaster. Ordered butter chicken and it tasted so yuck. It felt the tomato’s were coming from a canned and the curry lacked any flavor/spice. Coming from a Punjabi I would never eat here.
Really really good Indian food. The nirvana dish and the garlic cheese naan was notably incredible. This is my partner and his friend’s favorite Indian food in Santa Barbara and I’m really happy to have gotten it. Vegan and veggie friendly.
Excellent Indian food. Went on a Sunday evening and sat at the patio, no wait since we got there at 5:15pm before the restaurant got full. After walking State St and getting hungry, we chose this place without much expectation, but this place turned out to be excellent and very satisfying.
Very friendly and prompt service, and the complimentary masala tea hit the spot. As soon as we had the hot drinks and one heater turned on, we didn’t feel the cold breeze anymore.
We ordered one different curry each and shared. All were perfect. The lamb was surprisingly really good (and super spicy) even though I typically don’t care for lamb flavor. Would definitely come back here if we are exploring the area.

This restaurant serves authentic tic and delicious Punjabi food. All the dishes that we ordered tasted great. Their masala chai was excellent. Will definitely eat here the next time I visit Santa Barbara.
