Came in before closing and had an amazing duck mole and a generous carnitas portion. The octopus was tender and delicious as well. The service and staff were all extremely friendly and happy. I have to say as someone who worked in a 3 star Michelin restaurant this is a place that is doing everything right. Can't recommend enough come on by grab a cocktail or two and dinner.

Amazing place. I loved the patio and the food and drinks were delicious. I got the veggie risotto and we shared the margarita flights. Highly recommended!

Overall, I enjoyed my dinner here. The back patio is beautiful. I especially like the guacamole and chips and sauce in the spoon is delicious but very spicy. Make sure you have water. We tried a few things on the menu and I can't remember all of them but I posted photos of the paella, calamari & beet salad which were all delicious.

Beautiful upscale Mexican restaurant. Both indoor and back patio have great ambiance. The food and drinks are amazing, however there were several mistakes with our orders and the bill that affected are experience. Hoping it will get better.

We visited here for the 1st time. What a wonderful find. Our waiter "Raul" was friendly and informative. We had the smoked trout appetizer. A must have. (IMO). The risotto and butternut squash soup was delicious too. We got to meet the chef and manager. Hopefully, this review gets to anyone looking for great food and ambience, so they can have great success and be here for a long time. We will definitely be back.

Hits all the marks- great food & cocktails, friendly service + beautiful atmosphere. Gorgeous big bar and a fantastic back patio. If you’re looking for a unique ambiance to enjoy elevated Mexican flavors, I highly recommend Azul. Will miss the $9 house margarita but with prices the way they are I understand them raising it to $12. Still a good deal in this town. ?

This is an upscale restaurant with an interesting menu. If you're looking for a huge serving with beans and rice on the side, go somewhere else. They have excellent Tortilla soup, cup or bowl, with a creamier broth than usual. The Ahi Tuna Tartar Tostada was excellent. A cup of soup and the Ahi Tostada was lunch for me. The Azul Bowl or Provincia salads are big. The first time I added chicken to the Azul Bowl, but couldn't finish it. The only entree I've tried was the Chicken Enchiladas. They cheerfully subbed Tomatillo sauce for the mole sauce. The setting is wonderful. I prefer the huge shaded outside patio as the inside dining gets very noisy. The servers were attentive, but the food is delivered by runners. I'd prefer that the server be involved.

A relatively new restaurant with beautiful ambiance and a great location (across from SBMA). As locals, we were excited to try it out and hoped that the food would be just as amazing and delicious as the decor. Sadly, the food at Azul let us down. Pretty pricey for mediocre dishes. We got chips and salsa on the house, but the salsa was just ok. We were happy for a vegan soup option, but the Squash soup was not the tastiest. The Chicken Fajita was nothing but bland and the vegetable Risotto was just okay.

Had dinner and drinks with a friend here last week. It has an ambiance that completely removes you from the outside world and takes you to a calming garden environment. We ordered the tortilla soup, calamari and taquitos in addition to my friend getting the entree the server recommended. We also tried a few different margaritas. Everything was so good. Service was slower paced, so this might not be the best place to go for a rushed meal, but it wasn't so slow that it was disruptive to the meal. The only other consideration would be the price - this meal was not cheap! I believe it was roughly $200 without tip for two people. Not outrageous for a nice date night or meal where you're expecting these prices but we were admittedly a little surprised. Overall, I'll certainly come back and thought it was a great experience.

Creative fun Mexican cuisine, great service and testy cocktails. Seating can be a little tight but otherwise the place is highly recommended
