Food was great! Definitely gourmet Indian and carefully prepared. Great flavor on the tandoori chicken kebab, butter chicken masala and naan — and use of spice including real saffron on the basmati. Kitchen service was impacted it took us too long to get from appetizers to mains. Servers were friendly. It is LOUD in that room - hard to hear.
I was looking for a Michelin restaurant on our recent trip to Santa Barbara. I found BiBi Ji and then I saw the tasting menu plus wine pairing. My wife and I really enjoy Indian Food so this was a meal that we were looking forward to having. It did not disappointment. We were extremely well attended to during our meal and everything was explained in detail to give a good background to what we were eating. The food was really great!! Staff was nice, but NYE and not too attentive - too busy? They were out of a few things - seemed a bit disorganized for a holiday eve. We will go back! LOVED the potato naan!!
