Boathouse at Hendry's Beach

Food with a view.....
A few people recommended Hendrys and we were thrilled we went out of our way to go there.
Lots of parking. Right on the sea front. Great service and exquisite food!

Ordered the eggs Benedict with avocado, calamari, and shrimp with chips.

Food was decent overall, could be better for the price that was charged, atmosphere and service was pretty good.

Unfortunately it was raining and so the sea view wasn’t as pretty as in pictures I’ve seen but overall decent venue!

What an amazing place to eat, right against the beach! The atmosphere is great and the decor is top notch. The staff was very attentive, we had a group of 11 and they never missed a thing. The food... was amazing! I highly recommend this restaurant if you're looking for a seaside view and amazing food!

Everything about this place was perfect — delicious food, great vibes, and friendly staff. And the ocean view at sunset? Unbeatable! Definitely a must-stop when you’re in Santa Barbara.

The Boathouse is of course one of the great locations in all of southern California. You can almost smell the suntan lotion of the person on the beach 20 feet away.
Service is great, drinks are ok, prices are fair. The foid is very fresh---critical for a seafood restaurant.
The one weakness is the menu. There actually is very little fish other than the seared Ahi. I wish they offered at least three catches for dinner, like Swordfish, Sea Bass, and maybe a Salmon.
Lobster tacos are still just........ tacos.
Get the shrimp cocktail. It's great.
My review would be 6 stars if they had a better menu.

This place is a must go. Was visiting Santa Barbara while on a business trip and this place was recommended. It definitely did not disappoint. The staff and food were impeccable. Will be returning in the future.

Holy cow, what a gorgeous place in the most beautiful location. We sat outside on the uncovered patio. Loved being so close to the Pacific. Food was delicious , service was great. If you are afraid of birds, however, this is not the place for you! They will try to steal food off of your table.
