We marked our anniversary by having dinner at Bouchon. Our waiter, David, was fantastic, the staff was excellent, the dishes we ordered were each unique, well crafted, and amazing. They made us feel welcomed and celebrated with ease and comfort. Highly recommend Bouchon .

Fabulous food, helpful & knowledgeable but not intrusive waiters, expensive (but not insanely or pretentiously so), and worth it.

The food was terrific (although the portions were MUCH too big). Our server was helpful and fun and did his job perfectly. And the restaurant itself is just the right size and we could all hear each other talk!! I'd go back again if I lived there.

The ambiance is superb. The food is amazing and the wait staff couldn't be better. All in all a must for a special occasion.

Both entrees, Pacific Bass and chicken, were outstanding. Huge piece portion of fish and it was cooked perfectly and not "fishy" tasting. Quiet elegant ambiance, what you expect from a French fine dining experience. Our waiter, Carrie, was excellent and on top of everything. Thank you Bouchon.

Perfect dinner. From the moment we walked in the door. Service, quality and care to details were 5 star.

The only issue was a major delay between appetizers and main courses. Not sure what happened in the kitchen but should not happen in such a highly rated restaurant. Food was very good and outdoor covered patio was a nice setting.

Cute and romantic French restaurant. Service was welcoming and food was excellent. Wished it had a full bar but I should have researched that.. The one significant issue was the time it took between our appetizers and main courses was way too long, probably close to 30 minutes after the appetizers had come out quickly. The server was apologetic and took a glass of wine off our bill, but the amount of time we spent waiting definitely impacted our overall experience.

Great experience absolutely loved the serve and food. I would highly recommend for a date night or gathering of friends.

Excellent service accompanied with excellent meals. From the starter, to the salad and the main dishes. Every meal was well prepared , presentable and delicious. We were offered to try the wines we had selected. Overall a wonderful experience. Will definitely go back when in town!

The evening was outstanding. Service was impeccable except we did have a long wait to be recognized at the reception desk. The dinner was outstanding, especially the Trio of Scallops. The Brussels sprouts could have been crisper. A perfect evening for celebrating a birthday. Will be back again.

One of Santa Barbara's best! Mitch has put together one of the most professional food service teams in the city. Every aspect of this business has been an exceptional experience for many years. My favorites are the French Onion soup on a cold evening and the Roasted Duck anytime. The soup is served in a medium size crock pot with a baked cheese top and the sweetest onions I have ever tasted for this dish. The Duck is a full, 1/2 duck portion with a wonderful, rich reduction sauce and a Lima bean, squash and corn succotash. Their rotating seafood choices are always carefully prepared, avoiding the medium well level found in most tourist pleasing restaurants. A well thought out wine selection features several. of my little known; but special vintage favorites. The totally professional serving staff are backed up by several of the most pleasant and alert busboys. Finally, the friendly atmosphere makes this easily one of our most frequent repeats.
