very nice atmosphere - nice menu -food extremely lacking. Special scallop trio appetizer (or main). Delicious and well cooked scallops -none of the 3 'sauces' enhanced the dish. no appreciable flavor. Onion soup - familiar flavor - but serving bowl lacking in size and depth - very hard to get a nice spoon of the broth and the cheese/crouton. Tuna - awful extreme peppery herb crust overwhelmed the tuna, and destroyed our taste buds for the remainder of the meal. Rack of lamb - flavorless, tough, couldn't cut to have a decent forkful. Poor quality. Dessert was not a consideration at this point. After initial order and appetizer delivery, server became a ghost. I asked the front desk - "how is it possible to provide feedback when the staff never was available for comment, not even to inquire "did you enjoy your meal ?" No we didn't, not at all. I apologize, we did have one contact with server, when I searched him out to inquire where our food was after 20 minutes at least, to which he responded, "the kitchen is very busy". Oh well.
It was amazing! We've been there last year and we decided to come back after a great experience , and again it was wonderful ❤️
An amazing dinner of duck, sea bass and scallops while sitting outside . A perfect evening out. Highly recommend!

The trio of scallops was outstanding, with 3 distinct and delicious tastes. My local fish was perfect, and my wife's beef shank was tender and tasty. The lemon cake dessert came with a lit candle to celebrate her birthday. Excellent service by Christian. A great evening.
We had dinner at Bouchon to celebrate our anniversary. We had really good service (friendly and knowledgeable about the wine/food) and the staff were very kind to congratulate us on our milestone. The parklet had a nice atmosphere, with plenty of space between diners, and environmental control so we weren't too hot or too cold. We had French onion soup, goat cheese tart, venison, duck, lemon-blackberry cake, and creme brulee, and they were all delicious!
Fantastic service and made us feel special for a birthday! Loved the lamb shank, salmon and the recommended local wine pairing. Great ambience!
Great experience, perfect acoustics, outstanding wine list, menu even though not extensive it was very balanced... service very good... did not rush customers and explained thoroughly when inquired regarding the specials of the day.

This is our second time at Bouchon and again we were not disappointed. The service is excellent and the food is very good. I recommend the goat cheese tart for appetizer! The ribeye was very well prepared. The duck confit and breasts were very tender and delicious. I would expect a more sophisticated desert menu. Highly recommended restaurant in Santa Barbara with a nice large outside seating area.
From the very start, the staff were very helpful and attentive. We were seated and there was an anniversary card and rose petals on the table. So sweet! Our server had the best wine recommendations to pair with our 2-course meal. The main courses were cooked to perfection. Would definitely recommend Bouchon, to anyone vising SB.
We always come to Bouchon for special occasions. The service is excellent and the food is great. We always feel like we have gone to France which we love.
