What a big hidden gem! Beautiful decor inside bit the real treat is the huge patio overlooking the mountains. The servers were so friendly and helpful since part of the patio was order by smartphone. For a place more known for beer, they have a great wine list and even half off bottles for happy hour! The manager, Romy was even kind and friendly enough to come by and chat with us. We didn't get try the food but will definitely be back!

Service was great. It does get loud inside. Had the SB Cheesesteak and it was good although I think somebody threw a handful of rosemary on it instead of parsley. 6 hours later, still tasting rosemary.

I had lunch there on Sunday afternoon and ordered a chicken and vegetable Mexican soup that was delicious off of their Brunch Menu. Others got squash soup and macaroni and cheese, which all said was delicious. There were a number of local beers on tap and the IPA I got was excellent. I sat out on their lovely patio. The hostess and service staff were very friendly. It was a wonderful experience.

Brass Bear offers good food and thoughtful service with a pleasant Mountain Views. We visited the BB for lunch. The restaurant is surprising large with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. We enjoyed the comfortable patio. Our server was engaging and helpful. We loved the Mac and cheese. My wife enjoyed her BBQ chicken salad that was so large it made for two meals. I enjoyed my cheese steak as well, but be warned, it is VERY rich. Too rich for me I’m afraid. But it tasted very good. We enjoyed the BB Uptown and will return, just not for the cheese steak.
I absolutely love this place! Great food, great drinks! Amazing people! Kind, courteous, and accommodating. Love downtown and uptown. Highly recommended, or locals and visitors.
