We truly could not have imagined a more perfect place to celebrate our reception than at Brass Bear Uptown!
We worked with Emily, who's responsiveness and genuine sincerity that ultimately led us to booking and it ended up being one of the best decisions we made! 💕 From day one, she made us feel heard, supported, and cared for. No matter how many questions I asked, how many times I changed my mind, and no matter how many ideas I had.. Emily helped me bring my vision to life. She never once seemed bothered, only kind, patient, and reassuring. Her attention to detail, quick communication, and calm presence gave us so much confidence throughout the entire planning process. She truly went above and beyond, and I will always be SO thankful for her role in making our day feel so effortless and special. ✨🎉
The food was AMAZING, the scenery is beautiful, and the entire staff was warm, friendly, and welcoming. Everything came together seamlessly, allowing us to fully relax, be present, and soak in every moment of the night! The atmosphere here is so much fun, you might even end up with wedding crashers... but in the best, most unforgettable way. 😉
If we were local, we would recommend Brass Bear to everyone and we still will, even from Minnesota. Thank you to Emily and the entire Brass Bear team for giving us a day we’ll cherish forever! 🤍

The food was sooo good. We first sat inside but there was a fun celebration in room near us. Our old ears needed more quiet. They kindly moved us to the patio. They even put a new propane tank in the heater so we would be comfortable. The service was attentive and friendly..

We hosted a client appreciation event at Brass Bear's Uptown location, and from the moment we started planning our event until we walked out of the door at the end of our event, we were given the highest level of service. Emily was fantastic to work with - she is highly organized, professional and we had zero issues with our event because of her. The food, staff, and atmosphere were top notch! All of our clients enjoyed themselves so much and even I, as the host, had a wonderful time because I knew that we were in such great hands.

I went here with my friend George, everything was pretty fine, thanks to George for doing your job :)
We held an informal wedding rehearsal dinner for about 50 people here. Emily, the events coordinator, provided excellent service and communication to us before the event, laying out different options that best suited our vision for the event. Their online events portal was convenient and made it easy to make sure we were all on the same page.
During the event, Kenzie, and all the staff provided excellent service, making it easy to order and receive drinks. The appetizers were delicious and are guests loved the drinks.
Beautiful view from the outdoor patio and well decorated.
Great place for any type of group event/dinner or just a drink and some good food!

They tried, but spicy everything on the menu is a turn off, when I let the waiter know I was spice averse (and why, radiation on mouth) still came out spicy and ruined meal.
This was compounded by not accurate ordering (lots of duplicated items) as well as billing, which in the end up coming out $6.00 “extra”.
Seems staff is not paying attention to details.
Could be better, bit still missing the previous establishment.
Being a brewery you think they could at a minimum label or provide paperwork for the beer flights…
(Keep in mind 6+ is auto tipped… didn’t seem like a big party but.., service was ok and food quick so…)

Food was sub par at best, and incredibly over priced for the quality and quantity. A salad with Salmon was 30 bucks, over cooked/fishy and not even enough lettuce to call it a half salad. The upside is strong drinks and a lovely ambiance, great place for kids. Just skip the food. 2 each drinks and 4 meals for a family of 4 was $150 plus tax and tip. Unreal. Stick to yellow belly or sama llama.

As a wedding planner, I work closely with venues to ensure everything runs seamlessly for my clients, and Brass Bear Uptown was absolutely perfect. Communication leading up to the event was excellent, and the team kindly allowed me to arrive early to decorate before the couple arrived. The staff was incredibly helpful, accommodating, and friendly. If any guest had an issue, it was handled quickly and professionally—everyone left happy. The food and presentation were outstanding! I highly recommend hosting an event here. It was a true pleasure working with the Brass Bear Uptown team, and I look forward to collaborating with them again in the future.

We hosted both our rehearsal dinner and welcome party at Brass Bear Uptown, and it was the perfect choice. Having both events in one location kept everything relaxed and seamless. The private dining room was spacious for our buffet, included tables/chairs, and had its own bar, which gave the evening an exclusive feel without needing the entire restaurant.
Guests loved the natural flow between the patio and indoors, and drinks (including signature cocktails and a mocktail) were a big hit. We added valet for 125 guests, and it was affordable and made arrival stress-free.
The staff was incredible - Emily made planning easy, and Kenzie ensured the night ran smoothly. Everything exceeded our expectations, the value was unmatched, and they worked with our budget. Highly recommend Brass Bear for couples looking for a welcoming and memorable pre-wedding space!
