Lobster was over cooked.

Lobster roll was pretty good with a generous amount of meant and good seasoning. Coleslaw was so bad, not sure how you mess that up. Caesar salad was ok. Potatoes in clam chowder were undercooked. Staff refunded chowder, and service was friendly overall, just disappointing food.

One of the best lobster rolls I have ever eaten. Fresh food, casual experience, and relaxing atmosphere.

Wanted to love this place..... But it was meh. Warm lobster roll-lack flavor. Bread wasnt soft and buttery. Fried shrimp and fries- good but ridiculously priced. 4 shrimps and fries for 23$ Clam chowder- OK. Not super creamy. Tons of small potatoe and onion cuts... A bit too much. Lots of clams.Overall it was OK. Don't think I would come back at this price.

1st time here. Lobster roll was soooo good. We ate one at the restaurant and ordered two to go eat at our hotel. Oysters were sooooo good. Baldo is there Tuesday- Saturday. Very professional and accommodating.

After a particularly challenging day, I wanted to treat myself to something special so when I saw that stone crab was available at Broad Street Oyster Co—just minutes from where I was staying, I was all in.I ordered the large order of stone crab claws (6), the Caesar salad with anchovies, and the uni butter pasta with added “fresh” uni on top (for an extra charge) for a total charge of $170.49 including tip, tax, fee.I received the text that my order was ready just as I was parking a block away. The pick up counter is in a bar, I told the guy that I was there to pick up my order—the guy then proceeds to gab with his co-workers for a solid 5 mins while I can see my bag on the counter next to him. After some confusion (my bag was the only one on the counter) I received my bag and headed to my bnb. When I started to take the items out of the bag, a fishy smell filled the kitchen. The 6 crab claws were divided into 2 ice filled containers and looked very underwhelming. I put the claws on a plate and tried to eat them. First, the claws were absolutely butchered. Whomever took the mallet to them didn’t care if they left the shells in tiny little inedible pieces that were way too small to extricate from the crab meat. They obviously just whacked the heck out of each piece and ruined the crab. Every piece I tried to eat was filled with little shell bits. I had to spit it out. On top of it, the crab was mealy, grey, and covered with a white thick slime. All the legs were covered with the white slime. I couldn’t believe how awful it was! And at that price.I understand that stone crab was out of season so I wasn’t expecting to replicate what I had in orlando and Miami, in season—but these were foul and spoiled. The Caesar salad was limp and not tossed well. Some leaves had zero dressing while other parts were just globs of thick, grainy dressing. For $19.The pasta was cooked al dente but had very little flavor. And the extra uni on top (that was $14 extra) was pulpy, broken, and not fresh tasting.I ended up dumping all of it in the trash that smelled like death by sewage before I went to bed.I called the next day to tell them about my experience and the guy who answered the phone was unintelligible. After some time he passed the phone to someone who was very nice. He apologized for the bad experience and refunded me for JUST THE CRAB CLAWS. He was genuinely bummed that I had a bad experience and offered me a free order of claws if I wanted to come by and pick them up. Thanks but no thanks.I appreciated his earnest disappointment in my bad experience but I would never eat there again—not even for free.Avoid the gross, white slime, over cracked shells, and terrible food at all (very expensive) costs.Left 2 stars because of how the employee on the phone handled my concern but still wouldn’t eat here if you paid me.

This is our "go-to" for lobster rolls. The best in LA, Malibu and Santa Barbara! 4 stars overall coupled with 5 stars for the food because they've gone too high with the prices! We're looking at almost $50 per person for a lobster roll, fries and 1 drink. We may start looking for a new fave.

Be careful if you place an online order. It'll automatically default your tip to the highest amount even if you select a lower denomination. The lobster roll and tacos were pretty average. Not something I will crave when I'm in Santa Barbara.

We were really lin the mood for a lobster roll as we pulled into the town of Santa Barbara. We showed up around 4:30 and place was empty at that time but nothing wrong with that. The place is adorable. Fun decor. Great backyard patio area that looks like it would be fun with people back there. We ordered two beers and two lobster rolls. We decided to order one with the add-on of extra lobster for my wife's birthday. I'm so glad we ordered extra lobster for her. My roll was only about 6" long (i don't admit that to many people :-)) and wasn't even toasted or at least it didn't look or taste like it. There was so little lobster, my wife gave me some of hers when she saw the look of disappointment on my face. I was done in about 4 bites. Our lunch came to $100. I also ordered clam chowder which was excellent. Fries were excellent. Once they brought over the food and beer, not a soul came to check on us. No asking us would we like another beer? Anyway, maybe we caught them at a quiet time before dinner rush. Was just disappointed with the lobster roll. I would order extra lobster if I ever went back.

Really cool location (great decor and cleanliness). The food was very fresh and tasty. The pieces of lobster in the rolls were large, and the amount was pretty generous compared to other places I've been. The single piece of fish for the fish and chips surprised me, but it was really crispy, well-cooked, and tasty, with good fries and sauces. There's self-serve ice water with these neat metal cups.

Stopped by for dinner while visiting Santa Barbara for my girlfriend's birthday, it did not disappoint! Ordered the oysters, shrimp cocktail and fish & chips, everything was delicious. I could have downed a dozen oysters to myself, and those shrimp were seriously THICC. I also loved the house made cocktail sauce, which I also dipped the fish in (I'm a sauce boi). The Old Bay seasoning on the chips was a great touch, and the fish was seriously flakey with a crispy batter. I like the fact that Broad Street is connected to Shaker Mill, we had a couple of mocktails that paired nicely with our meal. I think we messed up by not ordering the lobster roll, uni spaghetti, and clam chowder but I guess we'll just have to come back to sample the rest of the menu (I'm weirdly attracted to ordering the burger at a seafood joint)! It was our first time at Broad Street, even though they have a couple locations in LA, but would love to come back and visit the next time we're in SB!

Succulent lobster rolls that will leave you wanting more!Love lobster as much as I do? How about live sea urchin or oysters? This place has all the seafood lovers faves. From their caviar service, seafood towers, stone crab claws, fish tacos, calamari, clam chowder, and much more! Years ago I was walking to the beach when I noticed a random guy under a tent with tons of uni on ice. They were a pop up then also selling oysters and lobster rolls. He sampled everything for me and I left to the beach with my uni and roll. Loved everything and the uni was even caught that morning by local fisherman. Now they have a gorgeous restaurant with a bar and cozy patio. If you love seafood and find yourself in Santa Barbara this should be at the top of your list.

We all loved the fish n chips! Three of us shared a bowl of clam chowder and a double hamburger and fries also. The fish n chips were the bomb. The music playing was cool, James Brown. We were in the back outside patio with our dog, and they even had a bowl for some water for him. We will definitely be back.
