I cannot believe what happened at Ca' Dario tonight. I'm still shaking. ZERO stars. Stay away from this place until they fire the manager. I've been coming here for YEARS. I trusted this restaurant. But what I experienced tonight was hands-down the worst, most unprofessional, most disrespectful treatment I have EVER had in any restaurant. I ordered my daughter plain pasta — NO oil, NO butter, butter on the side. They brought it wrong. Fine, mistakes happen. But then they took it back and 2 minutes later brought back the exact same pasta, still smelling like oil. They didn't even bother to make a fresh dish for a CHILD. When we asked for the manager, Chuy, he came over already angry. Not apologetic. Not concerned. ANGRY. He immediately started raising his voice, denying everything, and then did something truly unbelievable — he grabbed the pasta plate and melted butter aggressively like he was snatching something out of someone's hands. The butter spilled all over the table from how hard he yanked it. My daughter literally got scared of him. And asked me what just happened Then my friend walked to the bar to calmly ask about the pasta, and Chuy started yelling at her that they “don't tolerate complaints.” Excuse me? A restaurant that can't handle being told they made a mistake? AND THEN I FOUND A HAIR in my pasta. The chef came out, not to apologize, but to defend himself and act like we were the problem. This place has completely lost its standards — food quality, sanitation, and basic human respect. Absolutely humiliating for someone who dines at least 4 times a week in high class restaurants. After 5 years of dining here, I am DONE. And I will tell EVERYONE to stay away until management is replaced. This experience was disgusting, frightening, and absolutely unacceptable.
Antonio is a great waiter. He is kind and attentive. Our food was super hot and delicious.
They made an “off menu “ item for us ... grilled vegetables with goat cheese which was molto bene. They accommodated a change to tomato sauce for the soft large gnocchi, as well. Antonio, our server, could not have been more accommodating and the pace of the lunch at 1 1/2 hours was just about right.
Bussers swoop in to clear plates as soon as you put your fork down. Not everyone at the table is finished eating.
The specials for the evening were a seafood risotto and spicy mussel(starter). Both so delicious. The eggplant appetizer was more than enough as an entree. All were prepared well and delivered hot. The lemon drops were not too sweet and hit the spot. It was our anniversary and the communication between the hostess and our server did not happen without a question from us.
It was a very busy night and they seemed to be short of waiters. The servers did their best but had a hard time keeping up with so many tables occupied. Food was excellent as usual!!
Absolutely delicious. The service was incredible.

Food was amazing - love the cauliflower gratin, raviolis, tiramisu and carbonara (even though it's not on the menu). Antonio is a great waiter - always so attentive!!! Been there for over 20+ years.

The food is good, however the tables are packed close together, and the room is noisy. Rather than a relaxed atmosphere, the Waite staff are encouraged to get diners in and out quickly. When making a reservation you must agree to limit your stay to an hour and a half. Our glass of White Wine was served room temperature and we had to have them put it in the freezer for ten minutes. Maybe because we arrived early evening our Risotto order arrived under cooked, watery, not creamy and the rice was crunchy not Al Dente, 15 minutes later the replacement dish arrived and we enjoyed a proper dish of Risotto. Lastly, our experience with the manager was horrific. She was blunt, with zero people skills. Her attitude was “that's the way we prepare the dish, if you don't like it, order something else”.
Food superb , service lovely . Lasagna and papardelle bolognese absolutely perfect . They curated a perfect CANNOLI ‘birthday cake' for our 6 top that knocked our socks off . Well done Ca Dario, I felt for a nostalgic moment I was back in LITTLE ITALY , NYC !
Staff was very attentive and the food was fantastic.

We had a wonderful dinner before walking to a show at the nearby Granada Theatre. The service was attentive and we were served in a timely manner. The food was delicious. Everyone got Nonna's spaghetti and meatballs except me. They agreed how good the spaghetti dish was and I really enjoyed the brown sugar/sage ravioli. Yum! We will definitely be back.
