Ca' Dario Montecito

We had a wonderful dinner - the service was excellent, not rushed at all. and the food was outstanding!! Looking forward to eating here again when we visit Montecito.

We always enjoy a dinner at Ca Dario when we are in the area. The staff are always attentive and work together to make each meal special. George help us with this dinner and he was patient, kind and fun. All of the food was delicious. Thank you to everyone at Ca Dario who provide a great service in Montecito!

I'm a big fan of Ca Dario. I've been coming here for years. Food, service, outdoor dining ambiance outstanding.

Food was excellent. Our server was excellent - very attentive and fast. Very nice ambiance out on the patio immediately adjacent to the inside area. The big issue was with the restaurant's decisions around seating guests. We had a 7:30 PM reservation. We arrived to find about 5 other groups all standing outside, who also had 7:30 PM reservations. Despite there being empty tables, set for new groups, they made us all stand outside and wait for up to 15-30 minutes. We were the last group to be seated. There was an open 4 top available the entire time but they made us stand outside until after 8 PM (for our 7:30 PM reservation) with my 90 year old father. There were open 2-tops but they also made those groups wait 20 minutes before seating them at the open tables. I understand if they were staggering seatings for the kitchen, but at least seat people and offer them a drink. It would stop me going there again because it was rude an unnecessary.

Our Waiter was exceptional as usual!! He made our birthday party for our friend very special. Food was terrific, too!

We received outstanding service from our Serbian attendant. The food was exceptional as always and the profiteroles provided for our anniversary were both good and fun.

Up until last night, Ca Dario Montecito has been our favorite local restaurant. Last night they really disappointed us. We felt the dinner was very late in arriving. The busboy was the first to blow it. When my husband asked, in an annoying voice, “Where's are food?!?” His response ( instead of I'll get your waiter or, I'll get the manager was a surprisingly sullen reply, “ I just work here” and stormed off. It went down hill from there.

Mussels and clams with GF Pasta in a wine sauce no garlic...Perfect! I so appreciate the Chef adapting to dietary requirements! Great service too!

The restaurant was very nice and clean. The service and food were wonderful. We will definitely return and recommend to others.

Came there on a Wednesday night for a wine tasting prior to dinner - which was very well done - wine selection was varied and delicious. Dinner of Eggplant parm and Steak Frites was excellent - perfectly prepared. One of our favorite Italian places.

Ca Dario was excellent, as usual. Staff is warm and professional. They had the perfect table waiting for us - just the right spot for our pup to stretch out and not be in anyone's way. Our server, Francisco, was friendly and efficient. A wonderful evening with a fantastic dinner. Thank you!

Ca Dario is our favorite restaurant in the Santa Barbara area. The service is exceptional and the food is very good. Every time we have been everything has been wonderful!

Everything we ordered was excellent except for the Fusilli Tartufati, which arrived with 1/2 inch of water in the bowl, only 1/4 of one artichoke, 2 small pieces of tomato and the remainer only the fusilli. and grated cheese It was totally tasteless. A great disappointment for what was intended to be a special night out.

Excellent service, service and atmosphere. Enjoyed the outdoor seating, great staff as well as wine selection and food. Will return!

Always a wonderful experience, but when someone places a reservation we wish that would be considered before offering tables to people walking up.
