A new year day 1, so we started off at a place we hadn't been to before. Cafe Lido is located poolside at Mar Monte Hotel on the Santa Barbara waterfront, within walking distance of the Santa Barbara Zoo, and this time of year has a wonderful sunset view until they close at 5. Even better, the friendly bar serves great Cosmopolitans. There are tables poolside as well as at the bar and indoors. We enjoyed our cocktails poolside along with a perfect grilled cheese on thick sourdough, homemade thick tomato soup, and French fries. A great start to the new year!

We had the pleasure of spending the day with Kirin at the bar. This queen is the epitome of a people person and an extremely talented bartender. She knows how to make top tier drinks but also makes you feel like your sitting at the bar with your best friend all around experience would recommend please give her a raise 100000/100

Ive lived in SB for over 10 years now and the other day was actually the first time I’ve ever eaten here. I would normally not stop into a hotel to eat, but I had old friends staying there, so I stopped by to meet them for lunch. I was pleasantly surprised that the food and service was actually quite spectacular. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich which was juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. I wasnt thinking about drinking, however my wonderful server, sal recommended a cocktail called the love affair, I don’t exactly remember what was in it, but it sure was delicious! Sal made excellent recommendations for both food and drinks and checked on me plenty of times. I wasn’t expecting such 5 star service from what I thought would be a touristy pool bar by the beach. Because of its great location and stellar service, this might be one of my new regular spots!

Almost didn't come here when I saw that they might not have alternatives to their pork options for their breakfast sandwich. But that changed when one of the lovely servers their told me they had chicken apple sausage—which I didn't even see in their Breakfast Menu ?But yeah cool place and from my first experience here I have the impression that the servers know their stuff and are considerate of customers. As you can see from the photos the food went exactly where it was supposed to: my belly ???

Went today for brunch on mother's day, was I believe overpriced at @110 per person, not including sof beverages. Service was not great. Food ok. Not vegetarian/vegan friendly. It was supposed to be gratuity included and they tried to charge us mandatory gratuity on top at the end. After talking with manager, they took off the extra charge for gratuity. Will no choose to come again.

This place is okay. The food isn't worth the price and the service is alright. Got lunch here and it was nasty but the drinks were good. Sitting out by the fireplace having a drink is all you should do here. Every tab has an automatic 20% gratuity so check your bill. Most of the bartenders will tell you that so you don't tip. But the girls that work the morning won't say anything. Kinda irritating that they wanted to get a double tip. But whatever, like I said gets some drinks if you're out by the pool or chilling by the fireplace. Don't eat here, go across the street to Reunion.

Food was good but service is awful. Was basically ignored for 5 minutes then double charged and told they added their own tip. Left our dirty plate for hours

Came here for Valentine's Day & it was a vibe! It's connected to the hotel and the space is small but there wasn't a lot of people so it worked out. It was a great spot to get away from the wind and cold last night! They had a DJ playing music and offered themed drinks. My friends and I ordered the Fried Chicken Sandwich, Mussels and the Truffle fries as an app. Everything was yummy, the mussels were spicy, and the truffle fries were quickly devoured!

Great spot for a quick breakfast. This place is located in Hyatt. They have some outdoor tables facing the ocean which offers a nice view. The coffee was decent and the avocado toast was good too. Service was a bit slow. But overall not a bad place for a quick breakfast.
