Really top quality food, and the prices are less than you are going to pay at any nearby place. I think students like to complain, but I go here a few times a week and almost everything I've had feels like it was planned and prepared with care and enthusiasm for culinary arts. Better than the UCSB dining hall food, which is also good
The food here is fine and is typical college dining hall food. However, the packaged items like chips and drinks are ridiculously overpriced, coating more than even luxury grocery stores.

Less food, more expensive, especially for students. One serving can’t even fill 1/3 of my stomach.
Food is good. Lots goes to waste though. I understand that the point of having any business is to make money but I feel like the prices here are much too expensive! Especially for students.
This place is very worthy of 5 Stars because the food is prepared by Students who desire to become world class Chefs, from what I have eaten there, the kids are well on their way! After eating at the SBCC cafeteria, it's made me rather demanding of the food I order at restaurants. If Wolfgang Puck does NOT hire these Graduates for his very best restaurants, it's purely out of fear of being overshadowed!
It's a shame food services has a monopoly on campus; entrees are never that good. Salad bar is usually decent, though options are static. Eat at JSB, Natural Bowls, or the Burrito Bar instead.
The View was replaced by Natural Bowls. I miss the sandwiches but the bowls and smoothies are a pretty good alternative to the cafeteria.
Come have you voice and concerns heard at the Student Senate meeting 9am Fridays.
Who can get me hash oil?
