Terrible! Old owner lady has an ugly personality and created an unnecessary scene. She seemed drunk and not local. Spend your dollars at a better SB restaurant.

The Caesar Salad was fresh and the dressing was a tasty surprise. The Veal Milanese breading was crispy and paired nicely with the buttery, cheesy fettuccine. My friends both enjoyed their Spinach Ravioli and Pappardelle Vodka. Topped it off with us all sharing the Warm Lava Cake...delish!
I had the veal in a garlic sauce, with papperdelle pasta, which was delicious. The canoli to follow were ok, though over-large, and very sweet. The place certainly has a vibe, but we found it a bit loud - I've noticed on my visit here that Americans can't speak to the person next to them without yelling. Not sure what that's about. The one inexcusable is that they were out of espresso. An Italian restaurant, early in the weekend, and no espresso. Ridiculous! We were offered regular coffee, but if they knew anything about Italy, they'd know that espresso IS the regular coffee!
Delicious food, great service , excellent cocktails , great atmosphere, a must visit place in Santa Barbara.

Reminds me of a down-sized Buca di Pepo. Small space with dark wood and deep burgundy booths with Frank Sinatra music playing. The lights annoyingly flickered all night. The food was good, but unlike Buca the portion size was small. I sat at the bar and the bartender/server was personable. Good, but not a memorable experience.
I watched this place on an 1st amendment audit from YouTube and I would NEVER go to this place based on how the owners behaved themselves over a few people partaking in public photography. The owners were so nasty behaving and it literally grossed me out and couldn't bring myself to ever try this place out. They are a direct representation of their business.

Haven't eaten here but was on vacation in this town. Walking in town and came across a women screaming and yelling at some people. Come to find out she was the owner of this business and was mad at some people out side her place. But she was really going sico I and my friend decided we would walk on and find a different place to eat. But this showed the atmosphere here was not what we wanted. Don't recommend at all owner might freak out on you if you do something she doesn't agree with. This lady really needs help.

After enjoying this restaurant for around 40 years of consistently good food, something has changed. The dressing on my usually loved Caesar salad was so strongly tasting that I just couldn't eat it. The veal in my veal parmigiana was overcooked and so tough it was like shoe leather. Otherwise, the same nice relaxed ambiance and excellent service. Don't think we'll be back.
We had dinner reservations at 8pm but did not receive our food until 9:40pm. The restaurant closed at 10pm, so the staff was taking down tables and umbrellas around us as we ate our food! Our waitress disclosed that she actually forgot to submit our food order after first telling us that the kitchen was backed up. On the positive side, the food was delicious when it arrived and the portions were very generous. This is our second time dining here and our experience has been the same both times - the food is excellent but the restaurant seems to be lacking proper management and low on staff. It feels like the restaurant is being run by people with no experience in hospitality and absolutely no oversight by the owners. I'm sorry to say this, as I really hope this restaurant will survive in Santa Barbara. If they could get a great manager and well-trained staff, it would make all the difference.
Nice restaurant in Santa Barbara on State street The atmosphere and ambience is truly Italian and the food is good. I don't think there's a bad choice for dinner selection so enjoy, relax and have fun.

Was seated promptly at a table of my choice, service throughout the meal was great and the veal piccata was outstanding
Restaurant was very warm and uncomfortable. Server rushed our dinner. Not sure if he was trying to turn our table but we were done with appetizers and dinner within 30 min. Food was very overpriced for average Italian food.
We sat outside on a raised deck, which was fine. Except for the many speeding bicycles on the street directly behind our table. The portions of the great food are large and we had to take some home with us.
There are many places nearby to spend your money instead, places that support America and don't lie and harass people on the public sidewalk.
It would be a much better place if the owner wasn’t drunk on the sidewalk yelling at people and being pitiful. It’s not a good look, lost my appetite with the drama she caused. Not recommending.
