Such a cute escape! Their tri tip sandwich is great (can’t go wrong with either variety). It’s nestled in a perfectly wooded canyon spot and cannot recommend enough. Felt like I was back home in upstate New York! Some people park on the street but they have a lot which seems to turnover pretty quick. Would recommend that for safety. Outside is nice to sit in nature, but the inside is super cute (just might be a longer wait)

Fine, if you want crowds, tourists and mediocre food. Just go so you can say you've been.

OMG! This place is AMAZING. I'm always hesitant when coming to place that I've seen on social media. I came with an open mind, as I always do. The serves were quick to seat us and they brought out waters as soon as we were seated. The ambiance is indescribable. The wait for the food to come out was not bad, we came around 1140am. There was already a crowd of people. By 1230pm on a Friday the place was starting to get PACKED. All the serves were on top of it and I absolutely LOVED this restaurant. The food is SO good and so juicy! I cannot recommend this place enough! It's a must stop if you're on your way to Solvang OR in the area.

The tri-tip sandwich is a must and they have really good sauces that you can self serve apple-horseradish and bbq. The live music and rustic feel of the restaurant gives this place a really unique feel.

Dude, the burgers, chili, and onion rings are awesome. If the dining room's wait's too long, grab a killer tri-tip sandwich from the guys outside—no wait! It's a total hidden gem in the mountains.

We stopped at Cold Spring Tavern on our way home from Santa Ynez. It had been several years since we were last there, and the place is still as charming as we remembered it. It was very busy, but we were able to quickly get a table inside near the fireplace where the ambiance is very rustic. Although our service was rather slow, the food and drinks were excellent. After eating our meal, we sat outside and listened to the live music.
Stopping at Cold Spring Tavern is a must for anyone who wants to visit a peaceful place to get great food while traveling from Santa Ynez to Santa Barbara.

Parking: There are several seating areas as well as a walk-up stand to order food outside. There is self seating as well as table service outside, which gives you flexibility based on your preference.

Wow, just wow. This place had everything! They had meat, vibes, live music, brewskis, people watching, and it was kid and dog friendly. I went here on a bitchin first date (see photo of absolutely not included handsome man) and had an electric time. 10/10.

My wife and I visited this place on a Saturday, the first time there, we loved it!
The food was good (you have to try the tri-tip sandwich), the people who I think are in charge are super friendly and welcoming, but the surroundings is what makes the visit so enjoyable!
We were there the 2nd weekend of November, and it was great weather to visit. There was a guy playing music outside one of the buildings, which was a great mood setting.
We'll definitely be back.
P.S. they are only open part of the day, so make sure to check their hours before you make plans to go. And parking is limited, you have to park curbside either uphill or downhill.

This place has always delivered excellence. I really enjoy the vibe here. This place is historical and fun. Stopped by for the tri-tip sandwiches and beer. There were two guy making the sandwiches. One taller older man with a beard and wearing a beanie was very rude and should not work around customers. That's really a shame no one has addressed this issue in such a cool place. He is the only reason I gave the service a two, everyone else was very pleasant.
