IT'S OK...THEY DO TRY:Came here for a later evening sugar fix after dinner. The two worker girls were helpful, but something about the experience leaves me cold...pun intended. The ice cream flavor choices are few, and the workers did there job, but what lacked are the small niceties of customer service such as little smiles or verbal customer service engagement. Little talk. Little connection, but they did there job and did it well. I kind of think that this is more of a generational thing, and people and experiences are just different from when I grew up.The ice cream offerings are a bit pricey, and the place is probably in need of corporate giving it a much-needed refresh.

I ordered a birthday cake online. When my husband arrived to pick up, there was no one in the store. no employees or staff. after 10 minutes an employee walks out of the back. We attempted to pick up our Coldstone cake order for my autistic son (flavor matters) and were told that although we placed the order online the receipt they had did not show what kind of cake we ordered. They gave us one out of their freezer...wrong flavor cake (mint not vanilla) without the birthday greeting. I was contacted by Lisette from their store to resolve the issue with a refund and apology which sounded great. She said I could also speak to Stephanie. Sadly the four times I've called and left messages, I've never been able to speak to either. Made a second attempt to resolve through this online platform. Now I've been sent an email from some other person, Edward Colton, Attorney at Law (which is odd all by itself because why is an attorney involved in a $50 ice cream order) claiming I've been offered two cakes (which is untrue ) and they will now do nothing. The craziest part is we've been ordering from Coldstone for years in our old hometown and the customer service and product was fantastic but this has been both disappointing and strangely odd.

The ice cream is very tasty, a large selection, only sometimes what you want to buy ends up, otherwise everything is just gorgeous, sometimes the staff is tired, they don't put what they need, apparently they either have a lot of work or don't want to work. And the ice cream itself is great. I recommend to friends and acquaintances.

The ice cream didn't taste like anything except sugar and the place was dirty. There was dust everywhere. Would not come again.

Well I wanted The Caramel Banana Crunch but they were out of Vanilla. So, they offered sweet cream..because the young lady said they taste the same I took her advice. Well we were wrong. It don’t taste the same. It wasn’t good. Next time I will buy Ice Cream for the other Ice cream places next time.

Waste of retail space on State street. I think this is the communities unanimous opinion. Tourists only

Delicious ice cream, but they are routinely out of flavors - today, they had 12 out of 18. (Their excuse? "Fourth of July." Well, exc-u-u-se me. That was four days ago.). My advice? Drive the extra few miles to the Cold Stone in Goleta. One more thing: If you do go there, better buy a cone. The spoons that come with the cups at this location are so flimsy that it would be easier to eat your ice cream with chopsticks.

Horrible delivery experience on Father's Day. It couldn't have been the delivery serviceI used which was Uber Eats. They're delivery performance is exceptional. As I have the app Iwas able to track the delivery person's pick up time and exact route. We only live 14 blocks away from the store's location. The driver followed the shortest route to our home. Delivery was estimated to be 4 minutes. it arrived in 3&1/2 minutes. What a mess!!! We discovered our order was completely melted like soup the minute we removed the lid and the melted whipped cream poured out on our clothing. It had the consistency of Cream of Wheat cereal. The ice cream was to contain graham cracker crust, strawberries and blueberries. Found out later they were out of strawberries. In stirring the muck there was a very small amount of anything. We paid extra for whipped cream and peanut topping. our order total $35 for the ice cream and add ons!!!!! I contacted Cold Stone. The girl who made the order SWEARS it was properly refrigerated awaiting delivery. She blamed it on the driver. I don't think so!!! It was 7:30 in the evening, a cool night, and unless the driver had her car heater turned up full blast and placed our order directly in front of it there is NO way the ice cream could have completely dissolved in three minutes. I waited too long to file a direct complaint with Uber, but contacted the store manager the following Monday morning. She said she would forward the info to the manager. Four days later no response from him. I asked for a complete refund. $35 for ice cream soup??????? DO NOT use delivery from this establishment. Spend your money at the McConnells on Mission and De la Vina. Superb quality and the delivery has been exceptional. The ice cream is delivered as nice and fresh as if you went into the store and ordered it yourself. I am
