A wonderful dinner for my birthday 💐

The atmosphere is very soothing, the food was plentiful and excellent. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Very enjoyable.

Service and food were very good and the view was an additional plus in their outside patio!

Fabulous flatbreads & salads. We loved the ambiance and will be back again. Sitting on the outside patio is beautiful.

Convivo has it all! Gorgeous ocean views, friendly staff, food was delicious. One of our favorite spots in Santa Barbara.

Outside area very nice. Market seafood sampler was ok and some pieces of fish like tuna and halibut were not prepared well. Don't recommend My partner pasta bolognese was good Carrots side dish with tzatziki sauce was way too acidic.

We have dined here before and been impressed. Unfortunately, this time there were some misfires.The location of our outside table was not the greatest, but this was not a dealbreaker. The food was great. My main issue was the fact that the entrees arrived at the table before we had finished our salads. This is unacceptable in a restaurant of this stature. I will still return, but I will make sure that I notify the waiter of the expected timing of the courses, or I will just wait to order the entree as I complete my salad.

We had a very nice time here. Food was good. Service was excellent. We took our two large dogs, one of whom is paralyzed and they gave us a nice table on the patio. Interesting wine list. All in all a very nice experience 

My only recommendation is management should secure the backs of the banquet seats, every time a diner seating behind us moved our seat back jarred. Not at all pleasant.

Convivo is an excellent restaurant with excellent food and a great location. We loved the food, the wine and the ambiance. Our only complaint was the initial service. We sat for 5 to10 minutes while everyone else around us was being served. Once our waitress arrived, she apologized for being late and said "she didn't see us." This restaurant only seats 50? My wife started asking questions about several dishes and her response was short, rude, snooty. After another question or two, she says "I can get someone else to serve you if that is what you want??" We just sat there dumbfounded. First of all, my wife does not know how to be rude. or short or mean. In 15 years, i have never seen her be rude or short with another person. Not ever. She is not capable of it. I dont know what the waitress problem was but clearly, she did not like serving us. It was actually a shock. we just looked at each other after she left and said WTF? The guys that brought the food out and the wine were friendly, funny, really nice young fellows. Food was EXCELLENT, as was the wine.

Had the pizza with peach - was delicious and also had the mushroom pasta and that was great. We ordered a salad prior and mixed a variety of dishes to make a meal for three - and we did it right!

Two elderly couples had breakfast. I ordered a server-recommended chorizo omelette. The portion was too big and oily. Coffee was too strong. Was not delightful breakfast. Won't return.

My wife and I had a great time. We love dining outside with the view of the beach. The Beef Carpaccio and Summertime Peach Pizza were absolutely delightful and the service was great. One of our favorite spots in SB.

Amazing local San Miguel Vermillion - roasted, presented tableside, and then served deboned. As always, Excellent Service and a Santa Barbara beach-side ambiance that is so special! We are locals, and this is our favorite!!!

The hostess at Convivo greeted us with a happy anniversary, as I had put that down in our reservation, that was very nice to be acknowledged. Our waitress, Laura, asked us if we wanted anything to drink, we got our ice waters and took our dinner order. The charcoal prawns were very good. The margherita pizza was excellent. The ribeye was very good as well. All in all, we had a good time, it was rather busy and we were too stuffed for dessert. I did find it odd that, besides our hostess, nobody acknowledged our anniversary. That was probably the disappointment of the evening.
