The quesadillas blew our mind. I got the Mercado (veggie) and each element was cooked to perfection so that the textures worked super well together. My boyfriend got the quesabirria and the really flavored the meat well. The dipping sauce is incredible too. We will definitely be thinking about this place for a while after we leave Santa Barbara!

Delicious Mexican food at the Public Market. Their tacos, ceviche, tortas and burritos are all great, and their doraditos de papa are soooo satisfying. Tasty horchata too, it’s very cinnamon-y and not too sweet at all. Service can be slow when it’s crowded, but it’s definitely worth the wait!

Stopped in for lunch with a friend. The staff was ok but not very friendly. The order taker got on her cell phone before completing my transaction and didn't bother to let me know the credit card machine was ready which was annoying.
Food was ok but nothing special. The taco was soaked in meat juice so it was more like tortilla soup.
Ended up at $33 for 1 taco, 1 quesadilla, 2 sodas, and a tip. Shouldn't have tipped but I feel sorry for restaurant...
