I got a toasted bagel with butter and they gave me the butter separate? Why would I go to a restaurant if I wanted to make the food myself? Otherwise decent place
Food was yummy. Like was long but it went by quickly. Parking was available on site. I got the eggs with chorizo and potatoes burrito. It was yummy. The added salsa made it even better. Also had the Mexican Mocha and I really enjoyed it.

Stopped by on our way through Santa Barbara, around 10 am on a Wednesday. They were out of many menu items.
Lovely location with indoor seating and outdoor seating on a shady corner.
Really unfriendly service from 2 employees who seemed unhappy or bored to be there, and when they call out orders good for you if you hear them, they don't care.
Good coffee and the few bagels they had left were very good, particularly enjoyed the garlic cream cheese spread.
Appreciated the onsite parking.
Bathrooms are around the side of the building.

I’m disappointed in this place. It has potential to be great but the customer service is subpar. Contrary to its punny name, the only daily grind is the coffee, it’s not a place for those who are in need of a quick, complete breakfast to go. It’s not your local coffee shop where everyone knows you on a first name basis either. It’s very transactional but not efficient for a customer’s needs. I want to keep supporting this place but it’s not reasonable to do so at this time.

Now sure why the white guy gets mad when he messes up your drink when you ordered it correctly. Cashier was rude. I've came to this place before for years and first time leaving a review and of course it will be negative.

Very mediocre coffee, unenthusiastic service, no hot food until 6:30am, bathrooms were dirty. This place isn’t for me.
DO NOT GET THE RED VELVET CUPCAKE. I’ve loved this place since I moved to SB ten years ago. The food is always solid breakfast, lunch, smoothies, and pastries (especially the sticky bun). So imagine my surprise when I decided to try the red velvet cupcake assuming since everything else is great… I’m still giving 5 stars because this is the first bad thing I’ve gotten here in 10 years. Go for literally anything on the menu EXCEPT the red velvet cupcake.

A rear gem of good espresso in a sea of percolated coffee places. And the sandwich and croissants are almost French too!
Nice patio for enjoying outside the food in a classic SB calm neighbourhood. Must recommend if you’re in the area

Spent 3 days in SB and tried a different coffee shop each day. This is our favorite! Greta coffee selections and wonderful muffins. Calm and pleasant vibe and good outdoor seating. Parking lot makes it easy to visit.

I've been going to this place for about 20 years now. Love this place. They did spike up the prices a little bit but it's definitely worth it.
I met friends there at lunch time today. I don't do coffee, but I was promised there would be something for me to eat. I ordered the soup of the day (minestrone). It took rather a long time before I was called. I got to the counter and saw a brown bag and what looked like a cup of coffee.
I asked where is my soup. The coffee cup. How am I supposed to eat it? The guy slaps a spoon on the counter. I sat with my friends and tried to eat the soup. The soup was OK, but digging it out of a coffee cup was rather unpleasant and I had to leave about a third of it in the cup. Not a nice experience.
My boyfriend went and got a chicken chipotle ciabatta earlier this week and saved me half of the sandwich to eat. I went to eat it and there was a glove tip in my half. Great sandwich, I am just concerned because I almost choked on it. Again, great sandwich and the chips held up well! I would have called it in but I wasn’t able to as you guys were closed when I did encounter that.
This place used to have the best crispy bacon breakfast burritos in town. Nowadays the bacon has gotten soggy, chewy and unenjoyable. I will be taking my burrito cravings elsewhere.
