Sound engineer for karaoke night has no idea what he's doing. Has the volume way up on the mic for bad singers and the background music all the way down
Great food and drinks! They have several Irish beers on tap as well as authentic Irish and British cuisine like fish n chips, bangers & mash, and meat pies. The pub has a bar area with pool tables as well as a quieter restaurant area where you can enjoy a sit down meal. Prices are reasonable and service is good.
Dargan’s has become our go-to hangout while we’re waiting to supercharge our Tesla in Santa Barbara. It’s super convenient, just downstairs from the charging station and the vibe is always laid-back.
We usually swing by right when they open, and it’s nice and quiet. Perfect spot to grab a drink, share some appetizers, and even catch up on a bit of work if needed.
Huge shoutout to our favorite bartender, Shane he’s always so nice and accommodating, and really makes the place feel welcoming every time we stop by.
Solid food, chill atmosphere, and great service. Definitely a hidden gem for EV drivers looking to recharge both their cars and themselves.
I'm a pool player and the tables. There are the best I found in this county.
The chef OMG.
Excellent.
Patrick ronnie and the other bartenders, wonderful people.
Only suggestion open up part of the back room so people can play pool and people can drink without running over each other, it's impossible to play pool in there on friday and saturday night, too many people.
Both these pictures we're taking at dargans.
I think i'm on table three and the other.I was taken in the girls room,

The food here is amazing. I had the corned beef sliders and they were amazing!! Best sliders I've ever had.
My husband had Popcorn shrimp and he loved them.
Wish I didn't live so far away.
We wandered in after an afternoon wandering around downtown, looking for a nice spot to eat with a patio and were lucky enough to find Dargan's. The interior was fantastic for quiet afternoons and a good meal or a busy night and plenty of drinks. The menu was fantastic and I would have tried a little bit of everything if I could. In my attempt to do so, a wonderful seasonal salad, the french onion soup, potato skins, a pot pie, and a delicious dessert. I think we ate it all and whatever we couldn't, made it home for seconds.
We went for St.Paddy's Day hoping for some Irish music. There wasn't any. It was SUPER LOUD!! Even shouting to each other it was impossible to hear. The music was fun to sing along with and the people watching was amazing. The Fish and Chips were good. Huge portions. I don't know how the waitstaff could hear anything, but we all got what we wanted.
It was fun to see how people dressed too. It was absolutely freezing that night, and the wind was blowing hard, and most of the women were dressed super scantily. In things you'd wear to the beach. Guys were in jeans and sweaters. Lol
Terrific downtown Irish pub. The lunch is fantastic and can’t wait to return for a game of pool in the evening. Add this place to your list of Santa Barbara stops.

Definitely NOT SAFE FOR WOMEN. For how shady and uncomfortable the people who work at the bar here. I don’t trust any of their drinks and when I asked for their cocktails the guy said they only had mixer for one of the cocktails? Then it made my girlfriends and I feel weird after. We also ended up throwing up whatever it was they had given us.

GIRLS do not come here!! The bartenders/bouncers are in on something weird. Two of my gfs have a video of them giving them a drink (they didn't ask for) and then later asking them to come home with them. Aside from this I know over 4 girls that have had similar shady experiences here. BE CAREFUL.
