Local. Fresh. Small. Friendly. It's like a rustic French bakery. Nice staff. Hidden gem.

Wonderful French pastry, served by a welcoming baker in a tiny space filled with glass cases of beautiful, French pastries, eclairs and scones. Each pastry and large coffee were $4.50 each. So delicious and pretty messy to eat in the car! But, well worth it!

Freshly baked, flavorful and the texture of their bread is perfect. My East Coast roots have been satisfied!! Oh, and they're happy to serve you. Imagine that!

No prices listed anywhere, and no price list was provided upon request. You have to request every single item individually to find out what anything actually costs. A single cinnamon roll was $8 . Loaves of bread apparently were 10 to $14 and baguettes were $5.50. Very expensive in my opinion just for bread, and very small and cramped inside if you're trying to order while another guest is inside at the same time

Amazing panini await you at this quaint bakery. Think bakery fresh bread grilled, crisp, and buttery. Add ham, mild white cheese, dijon mustard, and fresh, thinly sliced green apples. Very European and flavorful. Staff were attentive and well versed in their products. They have a full suite of scones, pastries, and tastebud transformative bread. I'll be back!

This bakery is on the more small and cosy side but packs a punch when it comes to delicious food and variety. The interior is clean and all the display cases were filled with delectable food.I had a caprese panini that was nothing short of amazing! The bread was light and perfectly toasted and loaded with mozzarella, pesto and other goodies. I also split a strawberry scone with my hubby. The scone was on the thinner side which was new to me but super delicious as it was easier to taste and enjoy all the other ingredients. Customer Service was excellent. The young lady who helped us (America) was very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed it so much and plan to visit again.

Such nice staff! Beautiful full display case. I love this place for all it has to offer! It's a little tucked away but once you find it you'll never go anywhere else!

Ficelle bread has changed. Please go back to old way of making the dough. ?

The staff here are welcoming and warm. The bread selection is extraordinary! The best hands down in SB that are fresh baked, and the pastries are excellent. They offered lunch, sandwiches made to order, and mine was delicious. I came in less than an hour before closing time. They brewed a fresh caraf of coffee and enthusiastically helped me pick out the perfect assortment for my midday meal. I'm so impressed and satisfied with this bakery. Please give them a try, I know I'm going to be a regular. Thankyou Deux Bakery.

I love deux bakery. It's got the whole hole in the wall, mom and pop thing going. But simply, I just love those pistachio peach? biscuits. I could eat those every day. There's no sitting area here or anything. You order and get out, but I must say this is the most charming bakery in all of Santa Barbara :)

Taste ok, nothing special, but feel very unwelcoming and unpleasant as the guy who served us reached down to the bottom of the big pile of the almond croissant to grab the smallest one, which was probably almost half the size than the biggest one on top of the pile. It’s a very unnaturally action and just make us feel bad.

Let me start by saying that the staff there were very nice. The only reason I walked a mile out of my way based on the reviews. The walk over from
