We love the Kimpton in Santa Barbara! A special place for us, including us getting married there. The lunch was amazing. The mussels/frites incredible, and Jamie our server was incredible. He was attentive, professional and kind.

Quite pricey for what you get. The NY Strip was nicely cooked but plating not exceptional. Duck breast had flabby inedible skin and meager portion. I had read great reviews but was not impressed.

Great place, was hoping it would be a bit more lively for a bubbles & brunch meal, but it was fairly quiet and mainly hotel guests. It was fine, but not what we were hoping for as far as the environment. Food was great, service was outstanding, but again, it was not busy. Would definitely give it another try.

It was a quiet night at the resteraunt. I had the steak, it was cooked perfectly medium rare. My wife had the short ribs and noodles, she said it was excellent. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

We hadn't eaten here for a long time and were not disappointed. It was quiet, early lunchtime, Friday, and we were quickly served. I had the poblano hamburger, cooked to order, and my wife had a smoked salmon salad. Excellent quality at a very reasonable price. I wish Santa Barbara was a little closer, I would eat there more frequently.

We attended the New Years pajama brunch and were so disappointed. The ambience was great but the service was POOR and food was mediocre. We were from out of town and were excited to participate in the New Years brunch. We had an excellent NYE dinner at Loquita and was hoping to have a similar experience at Finch & Fork. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. First, the server tried to deliver our order to the wrong table, while we watched. The table informed him that they didn't order those dishes and he looked confused. We had to signal to him that was our order. My adult daughter accidentally knocked over her glass and we tried to get the waiter's attention to pick up the soaked napkin. Three waiters came to drop off food to other tables but did not notice us trying to get their attention. Finally, our waiter came by after 10 minutes and we asked him to take the soaked napkin and please give us another napkin. Another 10 minutes went by and no napkin. We ended up asking another waiter for a napkin and he immediately gave us one from an empty table. Our waiter eventually comes by with a napkin and we told him, we already received one. The service was terrible. The guests at the table next to ours had to physically get up to go get a waiter so they could ask to add to their order and request salt and pepper. The fact that guests had such a difficult time getting the attention of waiters/servers was ridiculous. It wasn't a matter of being understaffed, it was the fact that the waiters obviously were not trained or concerned with customer service. The food was only mediocre. We were very disappointed and would NOT recommend Finch and Fork.

We had a corner table in its own room which was a delight. The service was top notch and the wine pairing with dinner could only be described as nothing less than perfection.

Christmas Day buffet genuinely seemed like an afterthought for this restaurant. The salad (plain lettuce) at the build-your-own-salad was crunchy, and not in a crunchy crouton way but I swear it had sand on it. A textural sensory nightmare. The desserts were mediocre at best. I'm embarrassed to say they were all certainly not made in house. The most bothersome part about this Christmas Day buffet experience is that not a single item was labeled. This felt so lazy because they had a clear menu posted but couldn't be bothered to print and label the items throughout the buffet. I'm bummed this buffet was so terrible because I've heard good things about Finch & Fork. They really need to re-vamp and step it up next year. Given this experience, I would've have better off buying frozen or pre-made grocery store items to create my Christmas dinner. My money would've gone further and the taste would've been better.

We were a group of eight for Christmas Eve. Robert and the team made us feel very welcome. The food was excellent and the service very good. It's always a fun experience at Finch & Fork, including their various special events. I'm looking forward to going back and trying some of the new menu items.

We were very disappointed with the service. The food never came and we ended up leaving after an hour with no real apology or Explanation from the staff. Very disappointing to have made a reservation a month ahead of time and to have this kind of service happen.

We came for lunch on Christmas Eve. We had not been there in several years. We were delighted by the superb food and the superb service. Also, it was quiet, which may not be true at the busiest times. We were never rushed. Service was friendly and prompt. Our waiter went out of his way to mix a special drink for me.

We had Sunday Brunch with Bottomless Mimosas here. The presentation of the food was stunning. The service was outstanding. We had the deviled eggs which were served with a piece of Asian-spiced pork belly. My avocado toast was the prettiest I've ever seen and the tastiest. This is definitely a place to go to.

The restaurant is lovely. And the manager was very friendly and attentive. The waiter, not so much. Maybe because we didn't order alcohol we're very expensive plates, but he seemed kind of bothered by us. He also did not fulfill some basic requests, like bringing olive oil in lieu of butter for the vegan at our table. We had to ask twice. A diner with a diet sensitivity requested no Szechuan peppers for the sauce for her noodle dish, but it came with them anyway. Even though she specifically discussed it with the waiter. It is nice to see so many vegan options.
