1st time here and would definitely come here again. The food is very well made and delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive. There is indoor seating on 2 levels,plus outdoor seating as well. Parking is on the street, and paid public parking across the street. Good views as well. Definitely worth a try!!!

We had such a great time dining here! The tacos were full of flavor—perfectly seasoned, fresh, and satisfying. And don’t even get me started on the flan—it was smooth, creamy, and just the right amount of sweet. Absolutely delicious!
What truly made our visit unforgettable, though, was the exceptional service from our waitress, Erika. She was so kind, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcomed. It’s rare to find service that good these days—she went above and beyond and really made the experience special.
Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for great food and even better hospitality. We’ll definitely be back!

Croquettes were a nice bite, was well seasoned. Tacos were decent, well portioned. Wish the shells had more texture to them, they were a bit soggy. The salted grilled pepper is a nice compliment

First time coming to this location. The vibe from outside looked amazing. I got seated right away at the bar. They bring me out the regular menu even though it’s happy hour. I asked for the happy hour menu. The waiter seemed annoyed and grabs the menu it takes away. He comes back with the happy hour menu. I go to order something on happy hour and I asked for the sour cream to be on the side instead on top of my nachos. The server tells me that’s not allowed when you order off the happy hour menu. If I want to make changes I need to order off the full price menu. With restaurants like this, no wonder why downtown is dying. Shameful

Food quality was disappointing, though not bad. Quality of the Tuna (Atún sellado $32) was definitely below average (tough meat, very raw - Sushi like). Other dishes were lacking salt and spicyness in our view. Service was good. Tap water for free. Ambiente great and toilets very clean. For this price however the food quality should be better. Will not come back.

I recently enjoyed dining at Flor De Maiz Mexican Restaurant. The ambiance is simply delightful, with a warm and inviting decor. The views of the Santa Barbara Pier from the outdoor seating area are breathtaking, especially at sunset. The menu offers a fantastic variety of Mexican dishes made with fresh ingredients.
I tried their Enchiladas Criollo, and they were incredibly flavorful, with just the right amount of spice. For dessert, I ordered the "cornbread with ice cream topping" (I forgot the name of the dessert), and it was delicious.
The attentive and friendly service ensured everything we needed for a beautiful dining experience. Flor De Maiz is the perfect spot to enjoy a casual meal with friends or a romantic dinner with a view. I can't wait to return and try more of their enticing menu offerings!

Excellent food and service! We had chips and 2 types of salsas, the esquite corn appetizer, enchiladas criollas, enchiladas de mole negro, a side of black beans, churros filled with Nutella and had their café de olla! My husband said it was a "knock your socks off" type of meal. The hostess, and servers were so attentive and polite! We will definitely go back ,next time we visit Santa Barbara.

Excellent food, dog friendly sea-facing patio with heating, great cocktails, wonderful waitresses and quick service. They nailed every single thing I’d expect from a restaurant. We were so full we couldn’t try the desserts - they looked pretty good. Our waitress was very nice and had great suggestions, her being pretty was an added bonus.
