Amazing! My husband and I always make an effort to come here when we’re in the area. Lines can be long but service is quick and efficient.

No trip to Santa Barbara for my spouse and me -- and Louie, our rescue dog -- is complete without at least one visit -- and, ideally more than one -- visit to Handlebar. Sublime coffee. Cowboy cookie?! - don't ask, just order...two, because you will want one tomorrow...trust me.
I celebrated, this past weekend, with friends, my 70th BD, in Santa Barbara. That cowboy cookie and tall glass [trust me] of latte were sublime.Thank you!

One of those places in America where coffee tastes like real coffee :)
As Australians travelling in America I am making sure I review every place we have amazing coffee, because it hasn’t been easy to come across. Handlebar coffee is AMAZING. The staff were so friendly, offered to make us flat whites and were so chatty and lovely. We are 3 weeks into our Californian trip and Handlerbar has the been coffee we have found so far!

Ice matcha latte was one of the worst I’ve ever had and tastes like water. Would give it 0 stars if I could. Chocolate croissant was solid though so giving it 2 stars.

Nice staff, but the iced chai was really bad. I haven’t tried anything else, but I really don’t recommend getting that one! It tasted like water with a pinch of cinnamon and a singular drop of milk

A little hard to find parking in downtown Santa Barbara, but it's worth it.

Great, chill coffee spot. A lovely classic coffee and great place to chill. Bring your own power bank or come fully charged if you’re staying awhile!

Milk was so hot that changed coffee taste. Coffee should be creamy and easy to drink, not bitter
