Came in with friends. The sushi counter chef overcharged us by more than one item/ made rolls we didn't even order. And then when we told the host, the chef gaslit us into paying for items. We overpaid by $25. Terrible business practice for sloppy rolls.

Great food, sushi and hibachi both. Pleasant staff, very resonable prices. Dinner time better for the entertainment value but our lunch on Sunday was cool as well!

Who doesn't love some great Hibachi? Literally a dinner and a show! Although I don't come here often it is always a nice treat as they serve some amazing friend rice. The service is great for the chaos that Hibachi can be and the wait is always worthwhile in my opinion.

The cook was unenthusiastic and quite boring and uncharismatic for a Hinachi restaurant. Also, I took about half my food home (bill was over $100 for two people) and forgot to take it home. I can back five minutes later and they “couldn’t find the take home box” that I had left on my table five minutes ago… I think they ate it ..

We stopped her for dinner on our 1st night in Santa Barbara on Wednesday the 13th. We had called to make a reservation earlier in the day to come at night. This place is located a bit higher up on State St across the street from this Ramen spot. We got our table right away when we came in, but had to wait a bit to get our drink orders, which the nice lady who got us waters offered to take our drink order, and then food order as we still weren't greeted yet. Our chef was really nice, and prepared the food well. They put sesame seeds on your rice here which is a bit different. Food was average-good. They do have sushi rolls also if you want that as an appetizer or meal if you don't want teppanyaki.

Happy Hour is fire it's from 3-7 they have single piece nigiri 5$ rolls!!! And don't forget to grab yourself a mega mug also. If your looking for hibachi definitely order one of the combos with a lobster tail they are Huuuge compared to other hibachi restaurants a must try and ask for a side of the garlic butter and ask for lemon inside of it and forget about it

I got the Mexican Roll and Yellowtail Nigiri. The Mexican Roll was nice however the shrimp tempura inside of it was a little tough and In my opinion there was too much rice. It overpowered the other ingredients too much and made it taste like mainly rice. However the Yellowtail Nigiri was very fresh, and I enjoyed it, I wish the slices were a little thicker though. Prices are pretty reasonable and that's a plus for sushi in santa barbara.

Very good food, but I had my credit card number compromised and fraudulent charges the morning after I went to dinner at this restaurant.

Ordered this as a takeaway with door dash. So i cant comment on the restaurant or service. But i was really disappointed with the quality of the food. We ordered some sushi rolls and sashimi. All low quality. Sushi rolls too wide and thin as well, not normal shape.

I’m very upset, I liked the food, BUT I ordered rice with chicken, twice, the first time they put a spoon in, well done, because it’s not convenient to eat with sticks, the next day they say they don’t have spoons or forks, eat with sticks, that’s what they call you, It’s difficult to buy plastic spoons, in short I’ll never come

We celebrated my friend's birthday last night which was fun. This is definitely a fun place to go for birthdays. I recommend the Tokyo combo with shrimp. One Tokyo combo is enough for two people or you will have lots of leftovers to go home with. Our service was good except they did not come to refill our waters. So I had to ask for a refill but overall this was a great experience.

Surprisingly great salmon and good service. The atmosphere is very smoky, crowded and noisy.

I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The one thing I will say is that when making a reservation you have to wait until your whole party is there, which a lot of people might find annoying but every other part of this restaurant is great. I have been going here for over fifteen years, and I have never been disappointed with their service, or food. Their food is top tier amazing. Their fried rice, salad, and miso soup as well as any of the habatchi meals are soooo good. The manager is super nice, and I have never had a bad experience with the servers. The area is super nice and there are a lot of other places to go near this area. The restaurant is super clean, and the food is fresh. The chefs cook in front of you, and do a bunch of different tricks and make the experience super fun for everyone. They also have multiple TV's and you can even request what you want to watch, as they have a netflix and disney plus account. You can pick any football or baseball team you want to watch which is pretty cool. They probobly have other accounts on different streaming networks but those are just the ones i've seen 10/10 would recommend!!!

Went here to celebrate my girlfriend and I’s anniversary, and had such a great experience thanks to Ryan in the sushi bar and Maria as one of the hosts. Great vibes from both the people and the restaurant overall, really great tasting food (we got several different sushi rolls and nigiri), and they even gave us 2 mochi ice cream on the house. Perfect way to end the night, and will definitely come back in the future :)
