I've been spending a lot of time back home due to a parents illness and recent passing.
My sister and I always make a point of getting a burger at Islands. The Mushroom Swiss and a side of Onion rings does the trick. Never a disappointment and we always leave stuffed!

This is one of our favorite places to go. We can count on great food and great service. It's not too quiet, so you don't feel like you need to whisper, and it's not too loud, so you don't feel like you need to shout out your conversation.

Their Toucan chicken sandwich is really really good. Make sure to ask for extra napkins, you'll need them. Cobb salad and tempura green beans great too. Those are my favs and only thing I order so can't speak for rest of the menu. Casual, clean, bar atmosphere, lots of TV's with surfing and snow boarding. Pleasant staff.
