Traditional American-style breakfast in the courthouse area of Santa Barbara. The portions had a great size and the service was good, always serving coffee for the customers. The food was ok and overall a little expensive compared to other places in town.

Good food. Server was weird towards me, female, eating alone. Weird vibe as I walked out. Tried to say "bye" and dude refused to look at me. Awkward

Nice Old School Cafe, old style seating and they even have a Counter to seat you if you wanted to sit and watch the cook make your food. Fast Service , nice retro environment. Would come back here in a heartbeat!!

This is a cute little corner café. My husband, baby, and I came here and had a good time. The employees are all very friendly and kind, and the food was great! I would definitely come here again

This is the quintessential home town cafe frozen in time. Walk in and you will be transported back to the 1950’s with its furnishings and decor. The food is above average but not worthy of five stars.

We received impeccable service from the waitstaff. We enjoyed our meals including the California Benedict, Cobb Salad, pancakes and cinnamon rolls.

The name suits itself I have judged for myself and my judgment is not great. I ordered a basic two sausage, egg, pancake breakfast with a side of hashbrown. The sausage? Cold. Hashbrown? Luke warm at best The only thing that felt fresh and warm were the eggs. the pancakes were ok though. the syrup was warm in a bottle and that was quite lovely it felt good to feel some heat somewhere since the meal lacked it. I came in around 9 am and it was dead quiet. I will say the service was good continuously checking in making sure if I needed more drinks but again I was the only one there. I unfortunately don't think I could come here again which is a shame because the name really drew me in... points for creativity.

Excellent service. Real food -- nothing at this place tastes like standard fare from Sysco. It's like a friend is cooking for you. We HIGHLY recommend. And Roberto is the best server ever!

The kindest staff and great atmosphere I can see why people have been returning here for so many years

We judged for ourselves and we're impressed! Amazing service from the moment we sat down. Coffee, water, a waterbowl for our dog and a very friendly waitstaff! Food is reasonably priced with good portions, will come back in the future ?

This place is a gem for those early risers looking for a good meal in the morning. We arrived at 6:45 am and were warmly greeted by out server Roberto who immediately offered water and coffee. Roberto kept our cups of Joe filled diligently. We had morning staples of eggs, bacon, hash browns and pigs in a blanket. All food was prepared to our liking. The inside is as old school diner as you can get. Clean, friendly and ample seating inside and out. Will definitely come back.
