The food was good. The service was fine, if I have one feedback is for the workers to check in before changing the metal plate rather than grabbing it while we are mid stir. lol Honestly thought it was funny but yeah I think asking first would be nice. The flavors were good though. They weren’t super busy and were attentive when I went on a Saturday night.

Great food. Friendly environment. FYI: there's more parking space on the other side of the restaurant, so look for it in the map.

The food is very good and exceeds expectations, but I had a bad experience on Sunday night. The restaurant manager is unqualified for his position. I saw him say something to some men, and they got angry with him, to the point of insulting him. I don't think I'll return. I was a customer, but a friend recommended another restaurant with the same food at a lower price.
Staff was very friendly kind, and helpful. Food was great and easy to cook.

I came in with my friends about a year ago. We were seated, and were waiting for about 20 minutes to be helped because we were unaware of the QR code system as no one mentioned that to us when we came in. The woman working rudely gave us the QR code to scan and never acknowledged us after that. There was one other table and the waiters seemed to give them more attention than us (we are 3 young girls) probably because they thought they’d tip more (we would’ve tipped well if the service was better). The entire time we were just ignored. The food was alright, but pretty pricey and the ordering system was confusing. THEY ALSO CHARGE $10 PER PLATE OF UNFINISHED FOOD!!! Which is ridiculous. Never coming here again.

Food tests are not bad, but dumpling lots of oil and music techno music like nightclub music is not recommended. Family place

It started well with great service, but as more people came, we felt ignored despite pressing the button to call for service multiple times. The quality of the meat is ok, we’ve definitely elsewhere for cheaper. Overall, not bad if you’re craving KBBQ, it’s just not the best we’ve ever had

Be aware before you go that there’s a 20% gratuity fee for parties of 5 or more that they don’t make you aware of until the bill gets there. I don’t think this used to be the case and would be completely fine, if told beforehand. There were no signs and we were honestly blindsided, after asking for clarification, management became very argumentative. They told us that it’s a policy that was on the physical menu, but we were never given these menus, only QR codes to scan. It was a back and forth for a while. Additionally, when we decided to just give up on the $38 automatic charge to our bill and pay it, one of the workers, Fernando, trapped my friend behind the counter and wouldn’t let her leave even when she asked because he wanted to keep arguing about the policy. I used to frequent this place quite often, but after this last experience, I don’t think I’ll ever be coming out again. Fernando was incredibly rude and blamed the stores mistakes on his workers and servers and refused to let us speak to higher management. In summary, this restaurant needs to do better in handling conflicts so that Fernando doesn’t keep trapping college girls behind the counter after arguing with them over a over charged bill.

I really wanted to love this place. I mean, it’s the closest KBBQ joint to me, and who doesn’t want a quick fix of grilled meat? But alas, it all just fell flatter than a pancake.
Let’s talk about the banchan first. Some hits, some misses. The seaweed salad? Solid. The macaroni salad? Um, not so much. I’m still questioning if it was a prank. Also, who knew you had to order rice separately and pay a buck extra for salad? And that salad? Let’s just say it was dressed in kimchi sauce, which, spoiler alert, I wasn't ready for. I think I've been forever spoiled by that sweet, sweet ginger dressing. The glass noodles were ok, but definitely had a burned taste to them.
Now, onto the meat. Decent variety, tried a few things. The beef bulgogi? It was... different. The marinade tasted like it came from something completely different. Also, the meat pieces were bigger than I’m used to, making it more like a "bulgogi steak" experience. Galbi was pretty good, but still had that “different” flavor, like it got lost on the way to the grill. Then there were these beef finger things that tasted like they were made with zero seasoning, just crying out for a sauce, but none was offered. Sad times.
On the bright side, service was top-notch. The staff were super friendly and kept checking in like they were trying to win an award for most attentive waiters. But would I go back? Probably not. At least not unless they start giving away free ginger dressing with every meal.

Has turned into one of my favorite restaurants in Santa Barbara. Gave atmosphere 4 stars because the music can be a bit loud at some tables
