Very tasty. The service here is above par.

Food here was horrible! My husband and I came here yesterday and ordered yang chow fried rice and beef broccoli! Worst Chinese food I've ever had! The fried rice was oily and only had tiny pieces of shrimp and spam! Ugh not worth my money! Then the beef and broccoli was nothing but just broccoli! Soggy broccoli! Can't believe we paid $30 for two nasty items!

Stopped in on a Monday I think. The service here is great. This place has a cool design.

First of all, let's just start with the taste of the food. The broth is probably the least flavorful Sichuan mala I have ever eaten. The food is very expensive for what you get. $13 for a plate of meat and you literally get 1 oz of razor thin slices. Even for cheap stuff such as vegetables or noodles that cost $6 and upwards, you would think you would get a decent amount. No. You also get a tiny tiny portion. I ordered Orange Chicken for my son, and each piece of "chicken" was LITERALLY 50% potato starch by volume. Yeah. Soggy potato starch coating each tiny piece of chicken. With these portion sizes and prices, I feel like I am eating at a Japanese restaurant with slightly more flavor and less fake politeness. Now let's talk about the other stuff. The biggest thing that pissed me off is the "sauce and appetizer bar". The hot pot menu is a huge list of items with small font size. You check off what you want. So after ordering the waiter (dressed sloppy in regular street clothes) said, "Please help yourself to some appetizers", which makes it sound like they are complimentary. So I got some mediocre appetizers. Then when I get the bill I see I am charged $2 for each person for this, even though my wife and son didn't eat anything from there. I asked the waiter, "What is this? There is no sign about this?". He states it's on the menu that I looked at for 10 seconds. I was already upset at paying $124 for three people (we had to go eat somewhere else because we were still hungry), and I didn't feel like arguing with him. The next thing that annoyed me was that before I was even done eating, the waiter hands me the check. The last thing that annoyed me was that my spoken Chinese is mediocre and my written Chinese is even worse. On the menu, I forgot what it said exactly, but it was some sort of noodle. My wife wanted the clear glass noodles that are made from green bean starch. This is the conversation: "Excuse me what does this say?", I asked, pointing to the Chinese characters. "Fen si", he said. "Oh, the noodles made from beans, right?" He makes an annoying ugly stink face and shakes his head. "It's made from green beans, right?" "Yes" "Yeah, so they are made from beans" He makes an annoying ugly stink face and shakes his head. Ok...

The service was good. People are friendly. But the stir fry dishes are so bad. It's not even about authenticity. The dishes are just simply tasteless. Not going back cuz I like tasty good food. Wouldn't recommend.

Worst food ever. No wonder the place is empty. I had to wait outside cuz screaming kids (headache). But the food is absolutely terrible. We got beef and broccoli plus orange chicken. Not edible.

All the bad reviews about orange chicken being bad should know better than to order orange chicken at a hot pot place- it's not going to taste like panda express, ok? Now that that's out of the way... The hot pot here was delicious, authentic, and perfectly spicy. The meats and vegetables were very fresh and I will definitely be back.

Well.. food is mediocre at best (perhaps I should have tried the hot pot, I read its ok.) Dishes were too oily and not well balanced for my taste. The service was terrible. Every time I asked something to the waiter he would ridicule me. It was really bizarre. The place is super hot and smells too much like msg. I would not recommend this place. For that amount of money you can get delicious food elsewhere.

Should have taken the hint when we walked in at 7pm and the place was empty.. everything we ordered came from the freezer. Such a let down.

Even though their food isn't too bad, it was pretty ok, the service was lacking and the place could have been cleaned a bit better. They need to step up their service and damn clean up the place. We sat without getting water and the waiters didn't come back to check on us to see if we wanted anything else.

Everything was delicious, fresh and hot. Great service and a wonderful dining experience. Friendly staff. Will definitely be going back.

WORST CHINESE FOOD IVE HAD! I should have know this place was gonna be terrible since no one was in the restutant besides me. All I got was a simple orange chicken dish. How hard is it to mess that up? There was barely any real chicken in the dish. It was all tiny little crumbs of fried fat. All the chicken I had was chewy and the outside wasn't even crispy, it was soggy. On top of the awful chicken they asked if I wanted white rice with my food and I said yes assuming the dinner plate came with rice. Turns out it didn't! They charged me an extra $2 for a measly bowl of white rice on top of the nasty chicken. Worst $16 I have spent on a meal in Santa Barbara and worst Chinese food I have ever eaten! Take your business elsewhere.

I was never this disappointed about Chinese food, their orange chicken had no chicken, only pieces of fried fat, noodles had no flavor at all and for my chicken dumplings I had to beg for soy sauce, I didn't even get napkins, how a restaurant can no offer you napkins! Overpriced and awful food, will never ever come back.

Meh. Tried to go to a bunch of places that were closed before 11PM on a Saturday night. Ended up here because they close at 12AM. We rolled up with a group of three around 10:30PM and were seated fairly quickly because they only had 3 other parties going. We were handed a menu to fill out ourselves with no instruction or recommendations. Later asked him about some options on the menu which he didn't explain very clearly but we just kind went with it. Let's get to the prices... sheeeeeeesh. Way overpriced. Haven't been to the other hot pot places in town but Los Angeles is like half the price. Granted there are much fewer in the area so they could probably get away with this pricing. Ambience, vibe and service definitely does not warrant this price. Onto the service. Self service appetizers were cool. Some tasty stuff. But why no split saucers? Yall want me to use a single saucer for each thing I get and carry like 10 dishes with me back to my table? Midway through getting my appetizers and sides the server comes to ask me to pay in advance. Yeah sure I guess since you guys are closing in about an hour. Food came out. Again no instructions or recommendations. Some places start the pot for you and some don't. I'd like to know ahead of time. Anyway they gave us three small napkins. We used them. Asked for more and they said okay. 15 minutes go by and no napkins. Now the server is walking by with his uniform off and I ask him again for the napkins and he tells me they are self service buy the sides underneath everything. Worddddd. Could have said that the first time I asked. Start cooking our food and everything is cool. Meat was well presented and tasted good. Could have used some tongs though. Veggies were fresh for the post part. Some of the baby bok choy was yellowing. I'm a big boy though so I just ate around it. Later we remembered that we had asked for dumplings so we asked the server where they were. He told me the kitchen was closed but I had to clarify that I ordered them already but didn't know if I already got them. Turns out we had them but I didn't know they were dumplings. This is when things got funny because he brought out the prepackaged frozen dumplings to show us. Confirmed. Prepackaged frozen dumplings. Got cha. Overall chill experience. Wasn't the greatest but wasn't a nightmare. I also understand a lot of this stuff is language barrier where the server didn't understand and I get that. I was just hoping for a but more. Don't think I'll be back though.

It is so expensive. With cash you can get 50% off, so we four went there and we ordered the regular amount as usual. And it ends up with $200 after 50%off. It means we four students had a $400 hot pot??? Why I don't go to LA to have hotpot. Never gonna come again. And my stomach felt bad after this hotpot even on the third day. Also there was a hair in the dry pot. DONT GO PLEASE!
