We went here for late afternoon snacks and ordered the following:

2 Espresso
Slice of White Cheesecake
Slice of Brownie
Total: $20.66 with tips

We thought the brownie was extremely sweet, but it was great in texture—fudgy and gooey with chunks of dark chocolate. I totally enjoyed the cheesecake. We thought the espresso was all right.

Great ambiance and friendly staff.

This little spot is a hidden gem. It’s attached to a Best Western but don’t let that fool you. There’s an espresso machine and they’re not afraid to use it. Do yourself a solid and get the bacon fried rice.

Love this local cafe. Strong, hot bottomless coffee. Great breakfast options. Waffle/pancake with while grains, oatmeal with steamed milk and tasty omelets. I've sat inside twice now so I need to try the patio next time!

Had breakfast here, no long lines and wait times like other hyped up breakfast/brunch places in Santa Barbara. Quality food and relaxing ambiance. Ordered Bacon Avocado omelette and added onion and bell pepper. Very delicious and satisfying meal, and the hash brown was perfectly cooked- crispy and soft. The bird cage in front of the cage is very nice and relaxing to look at. Highly recommended !

Located in a quirky Best Western, this local favorite impressed us with friendly service and tasty lunch offerings. We’ve passed this place many times and finally decided to try. The menu is packed with breakfast and lunch offerings with a Hawaiian flare. We tried the chicken sandwich and BLT. My sandwich was very good. My wife enjoyed her BLT but it was a little heavy in the sriracha sauce. Our server was friendly and did a good job. The dining area has a comfortable cafe feel with tables, booth and a small bar. We might return for happy hour some time. We enjoyed this locals hideaway and will return.

Oh man, this was one of the best little cafes that I have went to in a long time. The food was delicious. That homemade chili was to die for. It was great. The atmosphere people were friendly, kind and nice and tentative to your needs. There's no complaints about this place. I highly recommend this place. Only thing I do not recommend is that doggone Best Western Plus worst hotel it is.

This small off the grid restaurant is a great breakfast and dinner venue to go to. We stayed next door in a quiet and peaceful hotel. The breakfast order was filled and delivered with minimal time. Hot of the griddle! Excellent taste and portions were filling.
Our server did a superb keeping up with the many hungry patrons and refills.

BTW, they have a very good margaritas for a relaxing time by the pool.

Great work to this crew.

The live oak Cafe is situated alongside the best western plus hotel and has a unique live bird tree outside to view.It was quite quiet at breakfast when we went so we were seated fast and had drinks very quickly. The menu has a good range of choices without being over large and our order was in quicklyThe place itself is tidy and well laid out with a good team looking after you.The food was well presented and tasty. It's a lovely little place with a great quirky twist which we liked.Would recommend it for breakfast especially the avocado toast and their omelettes.
