$16 for a burger……..that’s absurd. Defend the price how you will. I was so excited to go and have a meal. The food here is great but just like everywhere else the price is sickening.

lucky I found this place. so fantastic and kids friendly (which matters for us). I think this place deserves more recognition. Service and Food was great. especially the homemade cakes! !

It’s a very unique restaurant and the service was great, but the food was very mediocre. We ordered french toast and eggs benedict, but they were both extremely underwhelming and just not what we were exactly expecting.

A gem. We discovered it due to staying at the BW next door (which is also lovely). Good people and good food. Has its own charm; check out the finches and the patio room. We enjoyed every thing we ate here over four days. Check it out. Plenty of non-dairy choices.

Live Oak Cafe never disappoints! We just returned from a delightful evening, where I enjoyed the vegetarian bowl, and my husband ordered the blackened fish tacos, which she said was among the best! Ambience, staff and food is superb. We highly recommend it.

Interesting menu. Santa Barbara quirky. Saw their Live Oak Benedict and had to try it out. It was rather bland, but ok. The server was bored and lacked personality. It seemed like he was just putting in his time. Had wanted to try their pumpkin cheesecake, but he came, dumped the bill on the table there was no hurry to pay up. Decided not to trouble him with an add-on. The rest of the dining staff was friendly and attentive. It was a slow, late Monday morning. Only about four tables were occupied. It was quiet and clean. They have a kid's menu.

Had an oat Cappuccino which is more a Latte whole grain pancakes and 2 eggs over easy.Everything was cooked well, caffeine in the expresso just be aware it's not a traditional cappuccino.Scanty on the fruit, maybe 3 or 4 blueberries and a tiny bit of strawberry. Strawberry was not great so just as well. Pancakes were okay but lacked flavor, well actually an unpleasant aftertaste for me. Only ate half. Not sure what the syrup was. Eggs cooked to order.Would try another time with a different choice for meal, there is plenty to choose on the menu. Friendly prompt service, nice atmosphere. I had my meal to go. Plenty of parking.Eating on the patio looked like a nice choice.

Great little “hotel” cafe without the feel of a hotel cafe. Granted we just ordered takeout to take back to the room and the food never disappointed. Always fresh always fast and they have a loyalty rewards program as well. The food had such good tastes and seasonings and one of the best orders of onion rings I have ever had.

We are visiting California on a road trip from England and this was at our first stop.We had a couple of meals and more than a few drinks here over our 2 night stay at Best Western Santa Barbara.First impressions were very friendly, helpful staff which is always a good start. The drinks were very reasonably priced, the margaritas were well made. The food was very tasty and also very reasonably priced. Try the Pacific Rim bacon rice, it is unmissable. Best thing in this restaurant is the staff. They are friendly, attentive to your needs and efficient at serving you. I would stay at Best Western Bath Street again just to visit this restaurant.Thank you guys??
